FINALLY, application sent yesterday evening. Phew!!

Joining the queue of the long wait which starts now for the CC to be charged, and then PR to be received.

Wishing all the best to everyone who are in their different stages of filing their apps.

And ofcourse to everyone else who are waiting like me now for the final destination

In SCHEDULE 3 ECONOMIC CLASSES - FEDERAL SKILLED WORKERS, I remember I didn't fill "section 11" showing the proof of fund below:

a) Assets
Indicate the total amount of assets, in Canadian dollars $
b) Liabilities
Indicate the total amount of liabilities, in Canadian dollars $
c) Settlement funds
Indicate the total amount of unencumbered transferable and available funds that you have in Canadian dollars $

I left it without filling it and I did not attached a bank statement with my application but hope to submit my bank statement when it clears the CIO.

Please, can anyone clarify what I should be expecting from CIO for making this mistake. I applied from within Canada with complete supporting document apart from what the issue I stated above.

As you are applying form Canada, we may assume you have a job offer or you are employed. if this is the case then no need for the POF. but if you are not employed or have a job offer then your file will be rejected. offcourse you must support the claim of the job offer or employment in your application.

you may try to send an updated schedule-3 and bank statement and mention in the letter your full name, date of birth, passport number, nationality and application receiving date. hopefully they might add this documents to your application.

Dear Seniors...I guess this is a silly question...
But, requesting you to please help me with the below... ???

I think you should use name which is on passport as you are principal applicant and throughout as the process
goes on
you will show the name which is in on passport and not what is on Academics.....

Welcome to the club .......... now u r one of us ......... wish u speedy processing............ just wanted to know, if u tried for changing ur VO??? I mean would u not qualify to request change in ur VO, if u land in US (on Student's spouse visa even for few days) as its more than 1 yr entry????

This is similar to what I did and I am so happy to inform you all that my DEBIT CARD has just been charged. My 2013 application has been stalled in Accra for over one year. I had to package another application for my wife. The application reached CIO Nova Scotia on May 12th,2014 (9.47am).

Just today,the debit card was charged....I probably will be pursuing this and do away with Accra Visa office for now.

Let me make somethings clear from this application.

1. Debit Cards (as long as they are enabled for international transactions) are acceptable and treated the same way as Credit Cards.

2. I had to apply for her alone with the family as non-accompanying (This was a cost saving measure for me,we can decide to opt in prior to the visa issuance).I can't throw away the much that it will cost the whole family because I had an application pending already.

3. Patience is key...

It would have been much better if your wife had applied early May this year with CPC-O. You both would have got MR by now.

Congrats to all who heard good news yesterday

WES emailed me on 1st august that CIC cant access my online report. So subsequently withinn 15 minutes i paid the requisite fees, and in 2 hours got the email confirmation thst my report has been mailed. As per the arrangement, now it can be seen by CIC electronically?

I am a 7th may applicant. My question is:

1.) How does CIC get to know that the report is now viewable,

2.) By what time I can expect PER, as my DD was encashed somewhere between 16th and 20th June.

First of all, if you had already received your ECA from WES, you would have already paid the fees. What fees did you pay now??
1. CIC would have direct access to WES (as we used FSW ECA service). Also passport number is with WES and you have attached the ECA in your application which will be used by CIC to access the credential assessment.

2. PER should be anytime now i guess

Changing VO will require much times .....And its a bit complex process...Sometimes files are kept on the skipped on the transferred VO for long time....Tht is why I have not tried for this even though I have four yrs more US valid visa....
