The big font post by Jaxon.
Just my opinion....

I think such an elaborate letter amounts to over-exposing yourself. Most of the things like factors for point calculation are the work of CIC. We should let them work it out. Also, some generic statements at the end looked a bit pretentious to me. Thanks for sharing though.

I didn't say it's perfect. I didn't even recommend anyone to use this format, it's just a format that I used. Most statements (especially pretentious) needs adjustment based "real" situation. In my case, they're not pretentious, rather they're reflecting what I've managed in a foreign country called UK so far. PS: I've reduced font size as it seems larger than I estimated 15pt font to look

Yes its 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999% safe but not 100%

One of the forum member just faced such issue, his DD was made through Canadian branch of JPMorgan Chase and the bank has decided to close their Nostro by mid Sept and cancel all outstanding DD's. That's y to be on a safe side, it better to have it made from a bank/agency which uses Canadian bank to avoid such situation.
yup just for this reason i had suggested get yr dd prepared by psu bank which have their nostro account in govt. owned canadian banks which in no case would shut their operation.

Note - this has been advised because a fellow forum members dd issuing bank will shut its operation in canada.

No arguments brother. It was just my opinion. Someone else might see it as completely different.

Thanks for sharing your letter format, because many people had been asking about this. +1 for that.

Yes, the font size was too big. I zoomed in 67% to bring it to normal. ;)

Many ppl r looking for u bcuz ur waiving flag is causing error in loading the page......... kindly use simpler/less resource heavy flag.
Not sure if you're aware, I already changed to a smaller size flag and since then I haven't experienced issue on even a single page. I also asked some other forum members to PM me if there still exist an issue. I think this is all well settled a few days ago.

Why you are still checking the forum, rush and dispatch the application but before that go through the FINAL CHECKLIST (i think Century has posted it couple of times)

btw NOC code itself tells them if its skill 0, A, or B so u r not supposed to write it anywhere

After getting your reply for re validating the generic form (which was basically the form in which I had made the mistake!!) I will now go tommorow to revalidate it :( :( :( :(. We were merely saving the changes we had made to the generic form and not re validating it after each change. Now will dispatch tomorrow. can u plz answer one more question: the travel form does it have to be in the order of the most recent travel. I put the oldest travel first. I hope that doesnt make too much of a difference.

Hi,

Is it really needed to maintain bank balance till the PR process is finalized? We,of course would not process to settle in developed country like Canada if we were able to maintain quality of life living in our own country. I think most of the applicants here belong to developing countries applying Canadian PR with the aim of getting sound salary to secure future for their family especially for their offspring. Who is willing to apply Canada if already have adequate fund in hand. So, I do not think we need to deposit and maintain that much huge balance in our account.

Even immigration officers are aware of it that's why they have designed criteria for POF that should be on the form of:

current bank certification letter
evidence of saving balance
fixed or time deposit amounts

Nowhere ,they have mentioned that amount must be deposited for specific period of time or should have past transaction history. They have just mentioned that one can not borrow money for the PR process since borrowed money cannot be in the hands of applicant if visa is issued to them and Canadian government has to bear the responsibilities for settling PR holders in Canada. What if you are able to manage money in the form of debt and you claimed that money is yours and even able to produce required money at the time of landing.

CIC also mentions (in the Economic Classes form) that the funds need be unencumbered.
