Dear members, do we have any previous cases where new application is sent (previous application still not processed however, fatal mistake detected) I was reading David Cohan and it's written multiple applications with same NOC not allowed,

Please shed light
Members please answer the above only, I have not attached SSc otherwise wouldn't be asking this question

CIC only asks about the employment and travels in the past 10 years. Consider the date you send the application. If the date exactly 10 years before, your spouse was still in Singapore, he needs to mention it, otherwise no need.

Please note however that your spouse WILL need to obtain a PCC from Singapore, because there is no 10-year timeline on PCCs. PCCs go all the way back to age 18 no matter how old you are.
My spouse was in Singapore till Nov 2004. So does the ten year count start from 2004 or 2005 till 2014?

This is to discourage people from sending multiple identical applications just to increase their chances, which really only clutters up CIC leading to increased processing times.
I don't think you need to worry about that if you have a fatal mistake in your first application. Because if the first one is rejected straight away, then by the time the second one is processed there would only be one application for CIC to review.

Brother, it was CIC opinion not mine......... its was meant to add lil humor to the response but i apologize if it hurt any ones feeling and i am going to reword my original post. I too would luv to pay even 20 times higher fee if they start quicker processing.

P.S: I luv to pay higher taxes (if its justified by the facilities we get) bcuz it means i am earning ALOT.
Not really offensive, I was just expressing a different point of view. No need to change your post. You are a great asset to this forum. :D

Regarding Birth Certificates, what if I can't get one?

Is the following sufficient?

1) An affidavit - (Does this have to be notarized?)
2) 10th,12th, TC from college and Conduct certificates (copies and they all have my birthdate - They are in English)
check the guide to know what alternatives are acceptable

Now you want us to do the counting for you too ? :)

Just go 10 years * 12 = 120 months behind the application submission month.

Don't have this type of experience. My suggestion is:

Step 1: Send a withdrawal letter to CIO along with the reason;
Step 2: After withdrawal letter is received, send the 2nd application along with a cover letter and photocopy of withdrawal.

I don't think so. Please see the month/year at the end of each form in the form list here at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

Suppose you submit your application today (August 4, 2014). If your spouse was still living in Singapore on August 4, 2004, it must be listed on the application. If he moved out of Singapore on August 3, 2004, it can be omitted.

But Thomas cook is issuing DD for Bank of America (not Canadian bank).

Shah2014 in the previous post mentioned that it is risky to take DD from International bank which has branch in Canada.

Addendum to our previous assumption of DD being safe

There are 2 types of International DD (Needless to say that DD should have 6 month validity)

1. DD drawn on one of Canada's Local Bank [SAFEST OPTION]
2. DD drawn on one of Canadian branch of International Bank [better than CC, but still NOT SAFEST]

ONLY DD # 1 (just like Biwi # 1) is SAFE i.e. DD drawn on one of Canada's Local Bank. Make sure you get a DD DD drawn on one of Canada's Local Bank. If your local bank/agent offer's DD drawn on one of Canadian branch of International Bank DONT TAKE IT. SAY NO TO SUCH DD's to remain healthy and TENSION FREE!

The issue with DD # 2 is that International Bank may decide to close their Nostro in Canada and decide to cancel ur DD if its not encashed within 2-3 months.

P.S: Lot of text is repetitive to emphasis the matter.

My DD was issued from thomos cook and it has been cashed without any problem.
So i don't think there is any need to worry..
