Dear knowledgable members of this thread,

I would like to ask for help from you with regarding my NOC. I have sent NOC-CNP an email to request the best NOC that matches my duties. I am aware that I should 2281 (system admin) as a match, but to my surprise, they responded 2172 (database analyst).

Will these guys be the one to do the assessment and provide us with the points when our application reaches CIO?

I am posting my job duties for you to help me assess and see if it really should have been 2172 instead of 2281. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Dimitry ,

One more suggestion as you have made the expected date of charge (cc and dd ) .. may you jolt down the expected PER date also . In case of any help consider me as volunteer . :)

Hi NSharawat,
I had PER estimates earlier, but CIC appears to be sort of unpredictable in its PER issuing speed. Sometimes it's about 80 PERs a month, and sometimes it's only about 10. So until we find a clear pattern, any estimate wouldn't work well.
I'll keep monitoring it and I'll publish PER estimates in case CIC becomes more predictable.

Just wanted to know whether if an applicants CC has been charged and application get rejected later - is the applicant going to get refund?

Thanks. And that's what I thought as well. but i'm worried, will they be the same group of people who will be doing the assessment (reject or accept match of NOC on job duties) on our applications when it reaches CIO?

Hi seniors and kind forum members,

i am 12th may applicant. i have a query regarding ielts certificate. my ielts is expiring within this month. i am sure that they might have opened my application whhic was received at 9 am in the morning of 12th may, and as my ielts is still valid, but i was afraid that since it is expiring this month, will it have effect on my application. i paid by DD.

your words?

i think if your ielts was valid ( not more than two years old) at the time when application was delivered (in your case, 12th may ) then it should be acceptable and you need not to worry.

Q. I just received an email from WES requesting me to order a duplicate copy of my evaluation and requesting me to add CIC as the recipient. Why is this happening?
A. If you got your ECA before 18th April, 2013, then probably you have not signed up for WES FSWP package in which they allow an electronic copy of your evaluation to be available for the CIO to verify it online. Even if you have signed up after they became a designated authority, you may have accidentally subscribed to “WES Basic” instead of “WES FSWP Package”. Just follow the email and get the payment done ASAP so that CIO can verify your ECA online.

All the existing applicants are encouraged to login to there WES accounts and see Service level they have ordered, and upgrade to FSWP package BEFORE WES asks you to do so. If you do not order in time, your PER will be delayed or may jeopardize your chance of getting one.

REMEMBER: YOU NEED TO SEND ORIGINAL EVALUATION CERTIFICATE TO CIO WITH YOUR APPLICATION PACKAGE INSTEAD OF A COPY. Do not send it in a sealed envelope, just place it along with all your other documents.

Not sure. Can you try again with NOC-CNP, this time rewrite the letter without "data" part and use more networking jargon.
