I have just my father's name mentioned on my birth certificate. In the BC issued by municipal corporation there was no column for mother's name. Shall CIC accept it?

Please dont attach extra docs and send only what is asked.

Hi,after validating the Generic Application Form I saved it and then took print next day. My question is - is it ok or saving the form alter the barcode etc...should I have printed it just after validating

today I got call from my money exchanger who issued DD to me. he said the status is still outstanding. I said ok but I requested u on July 8, 2014 and today on July 24 u r saying outstanding....when did actually u checked it? he said to be precise the bank replied to us that it checked it on July 14, 2014! I said so it took the bank 10 days to inform u about it? he said yes banks are replying very late and also Ramadan factor. I said ok but what about the time between July 14 and till today? is it possible it has been cashed in these 10 days? he said yes but again if u request an inquiry it will take 20 days or so get a reply!. I said no thanks I can wait to directly receive my PER....I don't want to wait another 20 days to get a reply which is already 10 days old!

any one else who got any update for their DD status for the FAMOUS 8th may applicants? keep hopes alive, inshAllah we will soon receive our good news and PERs!

Checking DD status is just a 2-3 minute process for a bank but your bank is unnecessarily taking such a long time...Anyways, As per the SS , till now only 6 DD applicants out of 32 for 8th May have been charged. No idea why CIC is taking so long for charging DD's ?? its like charging 2 DD applicants per week and that too without any order picking up randomly.

i have just received my ielts result by sms ....as devastated as i am by a shockingly low result , i would still share it to confirm whether i have counted my points correctly
L=6.5.....4
S=7.......6
R=7.5.....6
W=6.5....5
overall band= 7
TOTAL 21..........Please correct me if i am wrong.

MY ADVICE....NEVER GIVE IELTS TEST FROM IDP , USE BRITISH COUNCIL .

your calculations r correct but I dont agree with you.
idp is very much generous in duplicate trfs as well as u can score easily in speaking.
Timing and location of the test are also very critical factors.

My SS copy from Jul 22nd doesn't show his PER status updated, nor can I see any post from him here since Jul 9th. Thanks!
