Oh ok, thanks for the clarification. :)

Sternchen has successfully received Canadian PR in the past (didn't maintain status back then) so I am hoping he did not / will not make mistakes while applying. Next, he is not at all concerned about the cost of application (it's a small price for him vis-à-vis the positive outcome chance) so that is out of the way as well.

@ Sternchen, all the best with your second application in case you decide to go ahead with it. Cheers! :)

PS - Yes there are people in our forum who have applied to 2 NOCs, if I recall correct at least one person has also been charged fee for both applications.

Am i missing something how do you know so much about me??

My wife mother's name is balaneelaveni , In documents like marriage certificate and passport holds the same name,
but in birth certificate it was as neelaveni. (I.E bala is missing), will it make any issue..

Actually i submitted my application on 12th jun 2014.

1. so what can i do know?
2. It's possible to send an affidavit now?

As long as applicant's name, dob, and either of parents name there, it should have cause no problem. The review officer will certainly understand neelaveni and balaneelaveni is same person.

If you have given neelaveni as other given/surname in the background declaration form, to me it will cause absolutely no problem. Even, if you have not written it, still should not cause for rejection. Never heard rejection due to name a bit missing.

we never quote as other name in background declaration.

I can't understand "Even, if you have not written it, still should cause for rejection. Never heard rejection due to name a bit missing."

much worried.... just saw her birth certificate....

Forum members - would really appreciate your responses to my question here. As almost everyone here has applied for a WES credentials eval - I'm sure you will be able to help me.

Has anyone had issues with WES Canada acknowledging receipt of documents. Here is my WES timeline so far:

Applied (and paid) for FSW credentials eval package: June 23
Evaluation / University Country: USA
Required Docs: Degree certificate copy (to be sent by applicant), and official transcript (to be sent directly by school)

My school's registrar has confirmed that the transcript was mailed out on June 25th from North Carolina - it should have been received by WES at the latest by July 4th, even if we allow for a generous 10 day postal transit period between USA and Canada! I myself sent my degree certificate by courier and it was delivered to WES on June 30th.

It seems to me that WES should have received both required docs at the latest at the end of last week (around July 4th at the latest). However my account status still reads "waiting for required docs". Contacting WES by email is turning out to be futile - it is hard to believe that an expensive service like this can be so poor in terms of customer service (making it impossible to contact them and get timely responses).

Would like to see if anyone on this forum has faced a similar issue? Should I be alarmed - or just sit back and wait? Another option is to send the documents all over again and pray....?

Thanks.

Hi why_not_try,

You could have sent both the things by yourself, after putting the sealed envelope from your registrar in your own envelope.

Anyhow, it is just a postal issue I believe.

WES is probably flooded by queries these days, so that explains the delay there.

They are usually very fast in doing the evaluation once they get the documents.

[size=10pt] Since I did not know the answer I kept quiet! :)

Century is saying.....if you have given neelaveni as other given / surname in the background declaration form, it should not be a problem at all. And in that context he is using the statement you ask about....

can't see as other name for mother in background declaration.. even though +ve reply from Century... ???
