It immigrated to page 2547. 8)

Hello members

I am new member of this forum. My husband is principal applicant. I am helping him to applying for Canada FSW as he is busy. I sent his application on 25th July. Received on 3rd July as per DHL but no one signature as receiver CIC . Is that happen to us only?

After getting current bank certificate of settlement, we did FD for 3 months. Is that a wrong decision? Can we show the FD when CIC ask or money should be liquid on bank account. Can we withdraw or deposit money on that bank account or cant transact at all?

Anyone can help please.

wish you all - happy settlement in Canada Smiley

Dear Experts,

My wife has SSC Certificate as a birth poof and it contains her Full name, DOB, mother's name, Father's name. But her Father's name is in short like " R. K. Sharma". instead of " Ram Kishan Sharma". Will this be ok?

Or Do We need AFFIDAVIT as well?

Thanks

Affidavit would be fine...

Hi, Not receiving signature is alright, happens to all cases.

Getting an FD made is fine, and you can transact from this account. The key is to keep settlement fund amount in some form of liquid asset and maintain balance of that much amount in one or other liquid form. FD or savings bank a/c, both forms are fine. Yes you can show FD when asked for proof of funds. No worries!! Just don't let the amount drop substantially from what is needed for settlements funds. If you keep topping up the balance you sure can withdraw. It's your money after all. Good luck!! :)

Oscar7 Thank you bro. now me and my husband is tension free :)

hi I hold MBA Marketing specilisation but appling for NOC 0111,but NOC 0111 requires MBA ( finance Major)

1. WES will certify my MBA qualification but will the VO will consider this qualification if No wat would be points i will get for this Is it for my graduation degree only or they will consider higher degree ie MBA (marketing) which is not there in 0111.

pl clarify.............. how much points i will get in qualification category

Hi,

CIO would not match your educational qualification with your NOC. They will match your job duties. But having studied Marketing and working in Finance field is out of the ordinary. I am guessing your bachelors was in Finance.

IF WES reports your MBA as a Masters Degree then 23 points,

If its deemed a bachelors degree then 21 points

I'm 8th May, NOC 2132 and application received by Mike at about 10:41 am. Seriously waiting for CC to be charged btw today and tomorrow.

Thanks! I was also very nervous since yesterday. Don't worry. Tomorrow or latest Monday will be your day! There is no order of fee encashment based on time of app received. It's the date that counts. So chill!

I haven't written my name in native language in application form because my name in my passport is in English and my birth certificate is translated in English so I thought it would be fine. Would this hurt?

Also, I have entered my spouse's name as Applicant (and also her family details) in Additional Family Info form which I filled for my spouse. Other one was for myself where I've put my own name in Applicant section (and my family details), is this correct way of doing it?

Please advise.

Thank you

In second one, I wrote my name in both the applications.... But filled my spouse details and signed by him.... Is it a problem..

Best of luck to you all.

Cngrats and welcome to waiting club...

I am sure this question has been asked on the forum on a number of occasions already. But it is hard to sift through 2500 pages to find the correct answer.

My Birth certificate does not have my name on it. What supporting documents should be sent with the application in this case? My High school certificate has my date of birth, and my parent's name on it. Should i get it notarized? Any affidavit is required as well? If yes, can any one share the format please.

My CC is charged on 9-Jul..this is a good news for now ;D

Request help with one query:
I have not submitted the PCC with initial application. Could someone please let me know by when I can expect to get the request from CIO to submit my PCC ?

We are from india and me & my wife are currently in 2 different states. Is it ok if we both apply the PCC from separate states ? or is it any concern.

Greatly appreciate your response. Thanks.

When you will requested by respective VO....

Thanks for the reply. Is jewellery accepted as proof of funds? Or if I have a joint property with my brother will that be acceptable? I am applying with my spouse and not with my parents. If property is accepted, what exact document they require as a proof (LDA Transfer letter or Registry)?

Jewelry isn't liquid, nor is real property (land, buildings, fixtures), so neither of those will work.

What you want to show is cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, fixed deposits, this kind of thing.

@ ananjay

You mean to say If I have joint property with my brother it will not be accepted? This is I am talking about providing information at the time of sending my file, I do know that if I get the immigration at that time I need to have funds in liquid form to be able to transfer with me.

If you have joint property with your brother it is an asset, and you can list it as an asset to the extent that it is yours (and should also list any accompanying liability to the extent that it is yours), but it is not settlement funds because it is not liquid.
