Dear Future Applicants:

Before submitting your application, do the following last moment check: Most Frequent Errors​

• Ensure counting all the pages of form.
• Ensure writing your full name at the last page of generic form.
• Ensure selecting correct visa office
• Ensure writing names in native languages
• Ensure writing name, DoB, photo taken date at the back of photos
• Ensure including self-addressed labels
• Ensure while filling form IMM5406 by your spouse, s/he is applicant
• Ensure Assets = Your property + settlement fund
• Ensure Settlement fund is owned 100% by you or your spouse or jointly by both
• Ensure providing original ECA, IELTS, and PCC
• Ensure providing photocopy of degree/master certificate
• Ensure birth certificate contains applicant's name, parent's name, and DoB
• Ensure using DD;
• If using CC, ensure diligently fill all the field of Section B of payment form: amount, card holders name, signatures, card numbers, CVV, expiry date, and type of card.
• If using CC, keep it inside a vault.

You can go for medicals from anywhere in world as DMP list as per CIC , so medicals is no issue.
your address change is required to CIC for mailing your passports after stamping (if your case is positive) , as mailing passports outside country is not practice by CIC as of now... my fingers crossed but Canada should pay attention towards e letter visa system rather than Visa stamping in passports.

Wanted to know if this is too late.. I may not be ready with all papers until end of August.. and intend to apply in 2173 NOC.

What happens if CAP is reached before my app is processed? Will it be considered for next year?

Hi Seniors,

I have a query related to the job refrence letter, my previous employers have shared soft copy of the refrence letter (on the company letterheard with all the nacessary details) with me.

If i take prinout of the soft copy (which have been shared by my employers with me) and submit with my application, is it acceptable?

or do i need hard copy of it?

You can send printed copy if it has all the details required such as Letter head, positions held, weekly hours, duties, salary etc. However, the visa officer may ask for the originals at later stage. So get the original letter and keep it with u

i'm applying for 2173 within 1 week from now.

if you prepare your doc and even you are out of cap, its fine.

I was inquiring since out of the 3 companies i worked for, i had submitted only 1 reference letter on company letter head, the other two were signed by the managers on a A4 size paper. For my current company i submitted only the offer letter along with the increment letters.

What are the alternatives for Birth Certificates (if not available in municipality)?

For the ECA, is it Mandatory to send both Bachelors and Masters degree transcripts or only later one (Masters)?

Ensure writing name, DoB, photo taken date at the back of photos. I am so worried about this point because I forgot to write this date. Might my application be refused for this reason?

Just realised after reading this , that I forgot to write my name in native language!! ! Such a stupid mistake!!! :'( my application is already ' out for delivery' !! So cannot recall it!! :'( such bad luck!! Really sad! I am sure my application would come back as incomplete!! Let's hope I can send it again if my noc 1123 is not filled up till then!! Chances are really slim!!
