Hi Century,
I sent my application on 27-06-2014. Now I have seen that the Generic Application Form is there with date June 2014. Earlier the date was July, 2014. I had seen posts from senior members on the forum in which they suggested that we should go for the old form as the print button in that form was not active.
I am bit worried, whether CIC will accept my application with old generic form or they will return it back?Huh?

My apology; I meant to write "NOC Category" instead of "NOC Category 1".

Applicant need to write only one of the three categories s/he is applying: either "NOC Category", or "Offer of Arranged Employment category" or "PhD category". Note that the 7000 guide clearly mention to write one of the category. If someone wrongly wrote all the three categories, still no problem will occur.

I am claiming 5 points under relative in canada and would be able to produce only the bank statement of my aunt.

Is bank statement alone enough to prove mu aunt's residence?

When FSW 2013 was launched, Generic Form was changed a bit - no body get rejected for this.

In September 2013, Additional Information Form was changed. None rejected for submitting old form. Note that there must be some applicants who send applicatons, then it was updated, and then the applications were reached.

So, I don't think, it warrant any worry. Just relax. You are fine.

He can submit his SSC certificate which must contain his parents ( mother and father ) and his DOB , he should submit the reason why he was not able to submit his DOB

But it was bit late for me.. We have already sent the application.I am new to this forum was not knowing there was an alternative for this bc..I just kept one self affidavit notarized in place of BC..

We have kept the SSC certifiacte(which conatains parents name) along with my credentials but never mentioned to consider it as BC..and am not sure whether they will look into that bundle of credentials as my wife is the prinncipal applicant

I am so worried that is ther ny way to inform CIC to consider my SSC as BC.. ??? ???

my brother applying for fswp just noticed that he had given a wrong date of birth while registering for WES, and thus the wrong one got printed on the official report sent to him.

please advise as to how to take remedial actions in this matter.

Just checked my ECAS status and it says "In Process"...

Wasn't expecting the status to change so early as my DD was charged on 26-27th june.

One question.. In the status page I see following text:

Please remove the ability for me or anyone else to view the status of my application and address information on this Web site.

Note: Once you withdraw your consent, your application status and address information will no longer be available on the Internet. Learn about other ways of receiving information about the processing and status of your application and updating your address information by contacting us.

"Submit Button"

Can anybody please tell me that what does this text exactly mean. I can understand the English ;D but little confused in wording here.

Document checklist suggest Credit Card Statement + Bank Statement. Try to collect both. Also lease agreement copy, tax assessment, employemnt letter, or utility bills is also acceptable.

if you need the 5 points, I suggest try to get one of them. It will give you peace of mind.

Hi All,

I am a May 7th Applicant and still have not had my DD encashed. This is all becoming too frustrating and disappointing specially after the time and energy I had put in to apply for it in 2013, got rejected due to cap limit and now again with no news till date. Somehow I have a bad feeling about all this.

I had applied for NOC 2174 last year which was not really what I was actually working as but still had a few responsibilities which fell in its remit. My role is more aligned to NOC2171 in which I have applied into this year.

Anyways somehow after having been involved in this for over an year now and suffering so much in terms of stress and finances (as I had to buy DD each time and then when I request cancellation have paid an extra amount on top of the conversion fee and initial fees already paid plus not to forget the IELTS exam fee). Further more I had to decline a new job just because I was not in the race last year. Unfortunately into a similar position now, this time I am being considered and most likely gong to be offered an even better job with excellent salary and benefits but if the application is returned for reasons not known to me at this time I may unfortunately have to forgo this new opportunity as well.

Too much pain and no gain for me in this case...

Wish everyone else on this forum best of luck with their applications and more importantly being able to get a good job and settle down well in Canada...

I think, you will also have to prove that she is your aunt. Probably, you already know this.

I am damn sure, nobody can tell what actually would happened as none have tried it.

It only means, through your UCI, if you click the button and press submit, you will never know through online. Disabling the online checking of your status.

Looking at trends, CIO will start processing 8th May application on 14th or 15th July, not before that. Oscar can put some light on it.

Prayg hard for startg 8 th applications start processing soon.i thk from 1 may to 6 may processing switched to next preceeding date while half apllications r pending to process according to spreadsheet....so hopefully ths weekend 8 th may applications may start...in sha allah
