hi , I have applied for 2132 and I can tell you that it is a bit tricky to get LOR as per their duties requirement because Mechanical is such a vast field. I saw in your letter that your 4-5 duties are matching which is well enough for acceptance as per the feedback received from FSW 2013 applicants. In my case only 3 duties are matching... I am 21st may applicant and still waiting for my app status....

I have got these many duties...in 2132

To Perform Fluid & thermal analysis on various engine components & systems and to help design and develop efficient, robust engine components & systems.
1 To check for any failure of a given design of a component/system, by performing analysis on it, before it is manufactured.
2 To inspect the CAD (computer aided design) of a component for any errors/shortcomings and modify if necessary before the analysis is performed.
3 To prepare the design of a component in CAD softwares like UG-NX whenever required.
4 To plan for actions to be taken during the course of project after it is assigned, so that it gets delivered in the specified timeline.
5 Preparing standard procedure/work instructions for carrying out the thermal and fluid analysis on different engine components/systems.
6 Improving the existing standard procedures for thermal & Fluid analysis by doing experimentation and research.
7 Preparing the detailed analysis reports. Also, giving visual insight into working of the components/systems with the help of fluid flow and heat transfer animations and giving useful design modification suggestions to make the component/systems efficient and fail proof.
8 Engine benchmarking activity; wherein different engines are disassembled and each part and system of an engine is compared with its counterpart in the other engines on parameters like weight, size & material. And preparing detailed report giving the comparisons and conclusions.

i have sent my application, which will deliver within 2 days.but unfortunately i have sent my spouse's academic IELTS.without her point, my point is 66.what can i do now?

1. is there any way that i can request cic to held up my application n meanwhile i will send my spouse's GT result?
2.or i wait till there rejection n then apply again? ( im afraid about the cap fillup by then)

please advice

However, I have not received any e-mail from CIC yet. Does this status means PER is done and my file will be sent to VO soon? Or is there a chance of not receiving any PER after having this status?

I work for an MNC and after long follow up with HR and my manager, they agreed to give a reference letter including the job responsibilities based on our quality record system on company letter pad ( 3 posts in 8 years). The challenge here is it might span 3 to 4 pages . Should I ask them to print all in letterhead . Or is this really big letter ?

Sorry to say -Ur file should be rejected since u are lacking points for scoring 67...

U may Wait for the file return and in the mean time take spouse GT IELTS score.....

Am I Right !!!

Also should I write name in capital letters format or in Proper format .. I am asking this because one of the form says write your name as it appears on the passport and on the passport it is written in capital letters ...

U r right about the mentioned names....

Its a not big issue about the capital letters....Just follow in a same format for the whole form (either all capital or first character capital ....).

Mine was received on 10th June for 2173 . Don't know if CAP will available by that time . ??? ??? ??? ???

Looks like there is no specific order on which they charge a day.

When you look at the wolf case , the application was received on 6:39 PM on 7th and this was en cashed on 6/17/2014

on the other hand, an applicant whose application was received at 1:39 pm on the same day was charged yesterday.

How do we analyze this pattern . for me it looks like they review all the application and then the application which are positive will be charged by someone else.

Yes ur thinking is right in a way...In addition with this- CIC may check the files in order of the NOC code also...

Like 7th May all 2174 will be reviewed by one officer and 2133 will be reviewed by another officer....

So work pattern of different officers may varies a bit also...This is also a CC charging variation reason i think....
