UPS beats DHL hands down for delivery in that area. I hear UPS is great for North American continent deliveries. Definitely is far better when sent from Indian subcontinent, as has been shared often.

For CIC specific deliveries by DHL it is also a matter of what time one has sent the package. DHL was delivering in flat 4 days from India in early May, and was promptly showing status on it's site back then. Not so much anymore as I often hear in the forum these days.

My recommendation in the order of preference from India to CIC is as below:
1- UPS
2- FedEx
3- DHL

Use DHL if you don't have a hot NOC
(just my take; excel ss must have more detailed analysis, I haven't checked that)

Second that.

UPS and FEDEX have more penetration in North America as these companies are based out of this region. DHL is a European company with better coverage locally (obviously). Between Fedex and UPS; UPS road network is far better than Fedex. Fedex, on the other hand is leader in air transport. The region we are concerned about is better connected by road; therefore, UPS is the best bet. 8)

When I sent my application, it was saying 22 calender days and yet, mine took about 6 weeks.

@Prospective Applicants

My application was couriered from Toronto,

UPS was committed next day 10 am and 1 pm delivery (difference in price). Same options are available if sent from outside Canada and depending on the time ur apps custom is cleared.

FedEx was offering 2-3 days (2 days for OVERNIGHT delivery option, 3 days for regular; however on certain days (i guess twice a week) overnight option may deliver on same day as well if given before 9 am but that service not available on that day thursday) Anyways, those who r sending from outside Canada, overnight option is not used. So, Fedex will take 2-3 days to deliver once app reaches Toronto.

DHL offered 3 days.

Chose wisely, check UPS delivery time from ur home city to Toronto!!!

For Canada they will check by themselves, don't need any PCC...as Instruction Guide says

[size=12pt]Police certificates

All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:
•a valid police certificate, or
•police clearance, or
•record of no information.

These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

No you don't need PCC from Canada as of yet but if they need it they will request it for Canada. But for rest of the countries where you have been for more than 6 months yes.

Yes you don't need it now. But during security check if Name ID comes positive then they will request PCC from Canada as well.
