At a few places in form where there was less space...
Instead of typing.. I left them bllank and filed by han.

For ex. Company name in personal history, address etc

Is that all right to do?

All the forms other than the general form 0008 can be entirely hand-written. So, there is nothing to worry about.

You cannot check the status if you don't already have a UCI number (that you get if you have previously applied to CIC). Only when CIC gives you a PER notification, you can track online.

I dont think its a problem except generic form because of barcodes. Every form states you can type in or write.... Even the video on their site advise to use typing in but they also refer to dilling out dorm manually. So i dont think it will be of any worry...

You can't check online.
When CIO accepts you application then they will deduct your money and you will come to know if you confirm with your bank.
Then later officially they will send a PER mail.
Please keep an eye on spam mails since it may be in there.

some applicants can check it if they have last year's UCI number, my application was returned last year because of CAP reached, so I found UCI written on my application, for first time applicants this is not possible.

Order of forms can be bar code form page 4 5 1 2 3
Then check list...
Then all others
payment form at end


And I don't have to include any dependent forms or others which don't apply at all

order of forms:

your photos and DD (if applicable) should attach to font of checklist by paper clip, checklist is the front page, other forms will follow based on sequence in the checklist itself.

no need to put any extra form if not applicable.

What did you do? Did you complete the form electronically and selected No in National ID Document section? Did you validated the form and generated a bar code page before printing? And how did you overwrite the section manually?

I came across a similar situation. I am using Citizenship card as national identity document and here in my country different districts have different coding format. So my ID has straight number without any special character but my spouse ID has got special character.

How should I proceed?

Yes... you can write with pen OR attach an extra sheet with details.... both are accepted.

My online status changed to "in-progress" , although I haven't received the PER yet. So what does this means ?

Your citizenship number is NOT your national ID number. So, you shouldn't mention it as your national ID. National ID is not necessary if your country does not have one.

Also, you should not write anything in the 0008 form after validating. Validating the form means the form is complete, so no point in adding anything to it.

I need urgent help. My cic application supports Wes ECA report but My ECA electronically not viewable by cic. To make cic to access my eca online I logined in wes site in fswp applicants area and remitted fee for 2 reports. Default address in wes site is home. I gone through all next and finally remitted fee of CAD 85. No where selected cic as receipient. Payment receipt i found that i am going to receive 2 copy of reports. So i think i made a mistake also now i am unable to login my wes account fswp area. Anyone can give proper reply.
