I have a question. How will the employer confirm the duties. Its the HR who gave the letter once our supervisor approves the draft version. Even if CIC calls the HR, they can never confirm about the duties.

Does any one know how does this process work?? In a bigger organization, its even more difficult if the employer strangth is more than 1 lakh.

when a company have more than lakh employees , they issue letter with reference no. and when they issue they put a photocopy of that letter in their records..

about the duties hr can give idea about duties performed by employee related to particular designation..

Like a duties of teacher are different than principal..simple

This wait is really killing. Applied on 16th june...but I ca't resist myself from checking this forum and CIC website again and again. The way CIC is progressing it looks like my CC is not going to be charged before mid august. Although I am not sure whether all people are posting their status updates as soon as they get it because from last few days there is hardly any progress and we are still stuck with 7th may applications. Not sure whether it is the real status.

Guys I want to alter my details in this forum...

The reason is I had sent Application under NOC 4011 on 17th june....then after some guidance from experts.....I ordered my Application back from mid way........

I have 3 year experience as a Assistant Professor in College Affiliated to University...however, My previous employer is not good with me......We had a fight and I had left the institute 2 years back......So someone guided me that "if my employer will have call from VO. He might can speak against u".....

Now I am currently working as a Manager in my dad's manufacturing firm from last 2 years..
So i thought I must try under NOC 0911........The queries of VO will easily be handled....

What you guys think about it.......

Please also let me know how to change details..

I need to get marksheets attested for WES evaluation from Panjab University Chandigarh, India. Is there anybody who can guide me on this please. I want to know university procedure and fees for this.

As I understand, I need to get all my marksheets and degree certificate attested from university in a sealed envelope and then send to WES alongwith evaluation form. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi Singh,

First I would suggest you call them and get all the details and the process they follow. Some Universities may ask you to get some details signed by the Principal or other college officials while you apply.

Some may take Original MarkSheets and take less time and some may take only the photo-copies and may take more time. So you should have everything with you as they may ask you for anything or everything.

If I were you I would go there and meet the official and get know the procedure and info first. All the best buddy and do well!

stamp is not required if the letter is on official letter head of company along with address, website, contact and email addresses

It's on official letter head of the company with address but there is no website, contact and email address available on that. But I am attaching the business cards of my supervisor and myself on which email address, website, contact is available.

Please let me know will it suffice??

I just got an email from the centralized-Intake-office stating that my application has been accepted for processing and I hope this is the coveted PER confirmation email
I applied (documents reached) on 6-May-2014 for NOC -2174 and used Bankers draft for the payment.

Things that might help others who are still planning to apply.

1. I did not have the birth certificate so gave the notarized solemn declaration with my 10,12 and passport last page as supporting documents.The 10 and 12 did not have my parents name but only the date of birth.
2. Did not have a job reference letter for 3 employers which covers for 3 year of employment out of a total of 9+ years of experience, hence provided a notarized solemn declaration stating my job duties.But the reminder of 6+ years of experience were substantiated with a detailed job reference letter.

The road is still too far for my destination but nonetheless a little solace for a decade of turmoil I have been through trying to mold my career and future in the land of the free.Thanks for those in the forum who have been helpful for applying to the 2014 FSW.

Hi all,
I am a 26th May applicant under the NOC 1112, what do you guys think my chances are. I applied last year also but CAP had reached. CIC is still stuck on 7th May applications and CAP for this NOC has already reached 93.
My duties are similar to those of NOC 1111, you guys think i should apply in this NOC also?

Pls guide.
