Wait for PER email. Status update is good but we are not sure until we get PER. Our application was rejected last year after showing in progress

OK So if I understand the workflow :

1) Check application completeness, under quota etc. (or return App with NER)
2) Charge CC / Cash Fees
3) Update ECAS to In process (Review all supporting docs)
4) Send PER (or return App with NER)

that seems a littler counter intuitive

Hi All,

What would be the next step after PER in FSW?
I have not submitted my PCC(USA and India), Do you think it would be wise to get PCC now?
Or rather wait until my PER?

In spreadsheet, wouldn't it be great if there is PER CC charge Medical based on NOC?
Like 2174:
XX CC charge
XX DD charge
XX PER
XX Medical etc.

Already I am sure when google review their servers performance .. our spreadsheet shows up as a resource hogger ....

But yeah that would be nice.

Yes I agree . Now we applied on may 6 and ECAS updated but no Email yet. So we are still scared until we get any email.

Experts advice pls for NOC : 4011 (University professors and lecturers) application eligibility:-

1. 3+ years work experience as a Lecturer in private engineering college in India and
2. B.E. (Electrical & Instrumentation engineering)

so application in NOC: 4011 can be made with this or I should have Master's degree or something higher education for??

And M. Krszwda on maternity leave. D. Stapleton on sick leave, and M.C, JASON, and J. Miller together went Brazil to watch world cup football.

LOL.. I know you are kidding..

But of course I assume these people are front desk employees and definitely not case processing officers or the team responsible to check the completeness of application package and verify eligibility points.

There should be different departments and teams inside CIC NS office. A team responsible for receiving application packages, some other team is doing sorting and organizing the files based on date of receiving or NOC, then another team responsible for checking papers for completeness and verifying eligibility (or initial approval). Then maybe there is another higher level team doing the final approval, once they approve, application goes to accounting department for charging creditcards and encashing DDs. Once payment is successful, it goes to another team responsible to upload the data into computerized system (scanning barcode pages, or entering data manually, etc) and updating status on ECAS. Once this is done, then maybe themselves or another department is responsible for communication and sending PER emails to applicants. And later on, the applications are sorted based on visa office and dispatched to respective VOs once a week or something like that.

This is totally a wild guess, but after working for many years in big organizations, I see the above work process looks very practical how things are done in CIC.

Please feel free to share your perspective.

Dear all (sp. those who are waiting for PCC request-Please apply now.),

I have received PCC request from Manila today at 4.00 pm containing the following sentences..

The requested information/documents must be submitted within thirty (30) days from the date
of this letter. We will notify you of next steps once we receive and assess your documentation.

Failure to provide the requested documentation within the time indicated may lead to the refusal
of your application.

expert comments please:
They asking PCC for Japan, Korea and Bangladesh.

1. Japanese PCC needs 2 months (minimum) from outside. I am waiting my PCC though I have applied for that around 1st week of April. My wife applied for her PCC on June 18, 2014. It is obvious that I ll not receive her PCC with in 30 days.
--- What should I do?

Did u recieve email or postal mail?

Yes it was for my cousin. We missed job reference letter for one job so our points decreased and lead to rejection and no refund of fee also.
