My application reached on 16th of June 2014 ...... received by MIKE ......... what is the expected time i will get some news from CIC.

Buddy with the way CIC is processing the response time should be some what after mid of August i am sailing almost in same boat.

Could any one please help me regarding the roles and responsibilities document

My company HR denied to provide roles and responsibilities document for the active employees.
Could any one please help with the Affidavit format for getting Roles & Responsibilities document from my supervisor.

Will the notarized affidavit from supervisor helps .....

Please don't take me offensive but i guess testers are not eligible , even if you manage to take the job duties letter ...then at any stage of processing if CIC come to know about it ...then application may get refuse without refund of fees.

I have experience as Business analyst also for 1 year. Can i apply with skill. If yes then under which NOC

The best thing is check the Roles and responsibilities if they match 2174 or 2173 then go ahead with that let me tell you in Performance testing you have to do almost all things like writing , testing and modifing the code so Please match your roles and responsibilities , and best of Luck

wat bt the status of others whose fees has been charged on same day ?

iv checked but no mail anywhere.. though after deducting the fees I got a mail from WES asking me to order a duplicate report for cic to be able to view it online..

but cic didn't send any mail.

I want to know here on the forum if anyone has received the confirmation email from cic?

I hope you had ordered the duplicate report at the earliest. If not CIC might be waiting for that.

They asking PCC for Japan, Korea and Bangladesh.

1. Japanese PCC needs 2 months (minimum) from outside. I am waiting my PCC though I have applied for that around 1st week of April. My wife applied for her PCC on June 18, 2014. It is obvious that I ll not receive her PCC with in 30 days.

I have another question- I have been in USA for 6 years, but the current visa I have is only valid till Nov -2014. I can get an extension for it at that time.
So can I apply for the Ottawa visa office, or should i mention my home country's office.


I see that if you have legal entry proof for 1 year you can apply for that residential country's office - but does that have to be one year from the date of FSWP application

I have received my ECA report from WES. I want to confirm, how many points I ll get for education

ACCA = Bachelor Degree (3 Years)
BSC (Hons) = Bachelor Degree (4 Years)

Do I get 21 points or 22?

Yes mszafar you will getting 21 points only. 10+2+4+(2 or 3) only getting 22 points

I do have same experience in testing and applied with NOC 2173. Refer the roles and responsibilities of NOC 2173 in CIC website

I'm 7th May applicant. My dd is not charged yet.

Please reply any one of May 7th applicant whether there DD charged or not?

dude im 8th may applicant and u can just imagine how hard the wait is........only God knows our condition......I pray for the good news soon.....I also paid via DD........but cio is stuck on 7th may applicants......don't know how long it gona take to reach 8th may applicants!
