Hi Seniors,

Please help.. I have all my documents ready except my wife's passport which will come in august first week. I want to include her in application as accompanying dependent. So, please guide can I submit application now with fees for both and send her passport copy when I receive it. I do not have UCI. I can send acknowledge letter from passport office that her passport application is under process along with PCC for both.
Please suggest if there is any other way.
If your spouse passport documents isn't included, your package will be deemed incomplete and so may be returned back to you......this won't be fun.If you are so much concerned about the cap for your NOC,Your best bet is not to include your spouse in your application package at this stage and send it immediately.......you will include a strong cover letter explaining the reason why your wife isn't included in the package. You will also make them know that you will update your status with your married status immediately you receive your AOR from your visa office.Try to also include supporting evidences to show your married status despite not including your spouse.
Cheers.

Most probably you will not get any response from commissioner's office directly if you go.. Better you take an agent for that.. You can check in your area about a good agent and get commitment that he has to complete police verification within 2-3 days.. also give some incentive in case he can complete within that time, otherwise penalty charges..! I did that and it was really effective..

Try tatkal service which might cost you more but you will get your wife's passport next day or 2 of your application.

Thank you guys for all the help and information that are shared in this forum.
It has been super helpful.

Please how do I sum up the settlement fund with regards to my family size?
Principal applicant(me) + my wife + my son. So does that mean 2 family members (my wife + my son)?
Thus, I will pick the fund bracket for 2 family members?

Please shade more light to it for me.
Your family size is 3....yourself,your spouse and your son.
I think your settlement of fund for your family size is about $18,000.......just barely below it.
I'll advice you to show an evidence/to make it like $18,500 because of currency fluctuations .
Cheers.

I can say that chances are very dim...but must apply who knows you might be in....Cap updation will soon become frequent in coming month then only picture would be more clear...

And please must proof of this settlement fund be provided at the time of application submission?
Or can it be submitted at a later time while the process is going on?
This evidences of POF needs to accompany your application package now and can not be shown later.
Cheers.

Just for curiosity, why do you think they need applicants to write the name and dob as well as the time taken for applicants photographs?
It's simple......
They instructed and we need to follow because they call the shots!
Cheers.

Kollins...This is not true...VO may any time ask for POF during processing of your application...

Thanks, I know that, I want to know the reason why they need it? Just out of curiosity.
There may be further internal documentation that needs to be done which will definitely required that each member in a generic form be identified.....they may need the pictures to staple or attached to such documentation.
Cheers.
