My application was received on 5 May 1:18 pm. NOC 2174. My CC got charged on 29 May.

But, I have not received the PER as yet. I can see couple of people whose file was received on 5 May and CC charge on 29 May, they got the PER.

I have 10 years of experience (1.5 + 1.5 + 6 + 1). I sent the reference letters for all my companies. All of them are on the company letterhead and it has my duties and responsibilities, duration, designation, full-time (40 hours per week). But, my 2nd company (1.5 years) and 3rd company (6 years) reference letter does not have my salary information. I have the appointment letters for all my companies but I forgot to send them along. The appointment letter have the salary information.

Is this the reason of my PER getting delayed? Because, my reference letters does not have the salary information. So, my reference letter will be regarded as incomplete? Will my application get rejected? Can I do something now? Can I email CIC and send the scanned copy of my appointment letters, experience letters and relieving letters? I have everything with me.

My education + ielts + age = 56 points.

What should I do? I am so tensed. The thought of my application get rejected is killing me. Please help me out.

Is it possible your PER e-mail was rejected as spam or that you mistyped your e-mail address on your application? Did you add the e-mail address to your contact list?

You can contact CIC to see what is going on with your application.

But in my opinion Nova scotia is not handling more responsibilities...I believe They use a software to match the NOC experiences...That is used on both CIC NS and local VOs...By which they can easily scrutinize the applicants with the respective NOCs...and they refuse those applicants with the less/zero matching wor exp.


Its not tht much hard...This type of software are used by many university / institution to check the duplicate statement of purpose (SOP)/ recommendation letters/ Thesis papers/publication papers....

You need to wait the instruction from CIC:

"You will be instructed to go for a medical exam within 60 days of receiving the notice."

Don't get senti about your real work exp.. all you need is to arrange Ref letter matching 70-80% of the JD for that NOC as per HR website. I hope you understand it 8)

Thanks a lot Century for the explanations. But if I may ask have you tried calling or anyone on this forum tried calling about status of the application and what's the likely response from the agent.

 Agent will ask information about last name, first name, date of birth, application received date, email id etc.

The feeling is reminding me my old days (student life). After all exams all students used to discuss with others about their answers to verify if they are fine. But I was different. I used to run off the exam hall (I was a very good student by the way :D ) as soon as the exam were finished, never used to discuss anything what I have written in the exam script (doesn't matter whether the exam went good or bad) and never used to see the chapters and handouts related to the exam, in case I answered something wrong, that would have definitely made me frustrated, sad, upset, tense...

I guess the situation is going to repeat from tomorrow. May be I will not look back to the posts here, until I hear something positive about my application!! I am saying may be, because don't know.. who knows may be I won't be able to 'control' myself looking at the posts.. because by now it became a routine to read the forum everyday... :) But well in case I read something that makes me feel I made mistake in the application,, that would certainly put too much pressure on!.. :(

I visited to Canada in 2010 on student visa. Please tell me can I check the status of my file with that UCI no. Or not. My file received on 9 may 2014.

Uci for life. I had last year uci and checked status of my application by using old uci. I found status of my application in process. My dd charged 6/6/14. But not yet received PER.
