1. Write with Pen your occupation title if its long. Yes you can type please see attached document and list the duties on a separate form . Be sure to type your full name, title of the form , number of question being answered on top and sign +date at the bottom

2.You can start with your highest level of education first or vice versa. There is no clear indication about it but the next question(personal history) mentions "start with recent information"

3. Yes

4.You can leave it empty

Thanks

Thank you, next question while in university I traveled to another country and worked ( Work and Travel program) , i entered the information on my supplementary travels form however, on the background declaration form do i need to put the address for the places i lived while working i lived in 1 state for 4 months and another state for 4 months one in 2008 the next time 2009 or should it just be where i lived regarding my home country?

I have a question regarding translation.. I understand that i need to submit following documents in case of translation..

1. Original document attested by notary
2. Translated document - attested by notary
3. Affidavit of translator - attested by notary

all above documents are in India and i am in Malaysia.. can i get a scan copy and send a print in application..? In case original attestation is required, i need to get it by courier which is time consuming and costly.

Yes you need to type in all the addresses where you have lived since your 18th Birthday, including your living in abroad.

Thanks

Re-posting the question:

My POF requirement is $11824.

I have the balance split into 2 accounts - lets say $8000 in one and $4000 in the other.

If I file the application on July 1st - can the balance in these 2 A/C's never fall below the given amounts for the entire period during which my application is under processing with the CIC ? If yes - can further deposits and withdrawal be made as long as the amounts do not fall below $8000 and $4000 respectively ?

OR - are any sort of future transactions (debit mostly) prohibited from these 2 accounts for the entire period during which my application is under processing with the CIC ? One of them is a Salary account so that's definitely not happening.

Please advise.

I don't find anywhere it is mentioned that the fund got to be freezed; as long as you can show your required fund anytime, it is absolutely OK. My saving accounts goes up and down; even i transferred some of the money to fixed deposit.

As long as you can show your required fund amount anytime, don't worry.

Note that, the fund amount need to be shown in two times:
1. During application
2. During landing.

on the supplementary travels form when i list my travels (applying single) can i use the rest of the page to list the rest of my travels and run a line through spouse and in"My" travels or where the space is full for mine, i continue it on a separate sheet of paper?

Continue your travel information on a separate sheet of paper. You should not continue your travels through Spouse and dependent section.

Thanks.

Original document is original. It never require attestation. These are mandatory for translation:

1. Photocopy of Original document attested by notary
2. Translated document - translated by certified translator and attested by notary
3. Affidavit of translator - attested by notary

Adding to what Century already said, you need to send the above documents as it is. Scanned copy of translated document, affidavit will not be acceptable.

Thanks

Hi experts. Looking at CC being charged of fellow members, i am getting a bit tensed as i am yet to submit my application :)

I got a quick query.
I have worked for 3 companies in the past 6 years.

Company 1 - does not exist. (I have the relieving letter which says the period of my stay with the company. I have a soft copy of the offer letter or probably might not have it only) Please advise.

Company 2 - Exist but a small company with only 4 people. Mostly the promoter would reject my request. Please advise what should i do.

Company 3 - current - I cannot approach HR or my supervisor to sign off on the letter. I can get a colleague to do it on companies letter head. Is it mandatory to get this from someone you report or HR? Please advise.

I can talk from my experience at it was very similar, but it is my first year as well.

For Company 1. I sent what letters I could find, although this were very old and might not have all the details they wanted. I printed a page that said the company had closed and got a personal letter from the same person that signed the older ones (being personal, there was no letterhead... hopefully the fact that it is the same person with the same signature matters). Some people say it should have been notarised...

For company 2. Where do you live? You should have every right to get at least a basic letter and a letter explaining why they do not want to provide all the details. I have seen many people here getting a letter from their company declining to give a more detailed one. If that is the case, you might want to add a notarized letter from you to the group.

For company 3. Tell them that you want to keep your options open... Or that your partner / brother / mother / etc have an interest in Canada so you are all doing the paperwork with you as main applicant. Or something along those lines...

Funny indeed ... I had my WES evaluation done a month ago (For my Graduation and MBA) .... But they never asked me for my Secondary or Intermediate Copies.

Looks like these requests are subjective ....

I've added info on my application. I've also contacted my bank and they told me that money were sent to "CITIZENSHIP & IMM FSW" but it will take some time to receive confirmation from them.

Hi All,

My birth certificate, my mother's and aunt's certificate are in my native language i.e. punjabi

As per guide 7000,

If a certificate is not in English or French, submit both the certificate and the original copy of a translation prepared by an accredited translator.

What does accredited translator mean?

Can i not translate certificate on my own and get it attested?

Thanks

Hi brother, can't thank you enough for your kind help to us all.
I am filling my forms and seek your help to confirm if "Provide the details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent" in the guide means just past 10 years (and even in other fields like "past travel" requiring similar data) if I am 33 years old.
I surely don't have to key in details since I was 18?
I request your kind help since the forum seems to have divided opinion on this matter.
Thank you very much

Dear brother,

In ur case --Most recent is the past 10 years details.... :)

For those who are 23 years --for him/her--- its personal history since the age of 18.

how can i add pics to my msg on this forum. i have to share an imp pic with all.
