Just answer all the questions honestly. I don't think this even is a category discussed on any forms.

I don't know what would show up on a PCC, because it depends on the country and the system in each place. But in most countries I am aware of, a civil matter does not show up on a PCC. YOUR EXPERIENCE MAY DIFFER! If possible, check your own history beforehand to see if anything will come up on your PCC.

Thanks for your answer brow.

They ask for 3 documents here in Brazil. "Federal police", "State police", and "Federal Justice"

We are clear for the 2 polices, but her PCC for "Federal justices" states one Tax debit action against her and her partner.

Does anyone have a clue if this is a big deal!? I am becoming very worried...

@ Oscar7
If I m not rubbing it in; would u like to elaborate what caused the BURNS? cap quickly filled or something else?

Oscar7 said:
Kool, you need to make one promise today. You will never bring up NOC1122 from 2011. There are many BURN victims from that time LOL! ;D

@vinisha
Dil maat dukhao! I dont think it will come to you; CIC has already charged ur CC now they would like to close the case asap. So WES will directly courier them. Even if u have to I cur it, keep the receipt and claim it in your first tax return in Canada 8)

Hi Future canadian,

Please resolve my query as my case is nearly done.
I applied in FSWP 2013, in NOC 2134 but my case returned, as cap reached. CIC quote UCI number on application first page with red pen.

This year I am reapplying under NOC 0911,
Do I need to quote UCI number on my application ?? Yes, you should provide your UCI number in the applications if you have one. I too am the same case as of yours and had provided UCI number this time.

Do CIC have any history of my last application??
Yes they do.

What would happen if I dont quote UCI number on my application??
Nothing negative. They will find out themself and will put it on your file.

What a revelation ( to me at least) !

Applying for a not-so-hot NOC (4011), I was taking it lightly because I figured it will take long to fill the sub cap of 1000. But the way other hot NOC guys are blazing through in filling their applications, it might as well turn out that the overall cap of 25,500 gets filled way earlier. And I am left with lots of empty seats in NOC 4011, but still not being considered.

Hence, no one can take it easy I figure.

Did I say it right ?

As accurate as it gets! If you are taking it light then obviously there are other priorities more important than this for you. Which is fine by all means! :)

Lol, yeah. You too have got accurate prediction for my priorities.

I am going for it, but not rushing it. Perhaps will have to now, otherwise no use of any amount of effort spent.

Started with PCC, sent the docs to FBI.
Ready with ECA stuff, will send tomorrow.
Yet to register for IELTS.
Filling the forms. But don't like the scant space in boxes, can't write certain names completely, and then they say 'don't abbreviate'.

So I take it you are used to setting wrong priorities LOL. (joking)
PCC was the last thing to be done; could have started it after posting the application package. I guess you thought it was easy to get started with. LOL easy & important are two different things!
How many points are you getting (with some assumptions for IELTS as of now)? Register for IELTS asap and get done with it. Good ECA work is ongoing. Use additional pages to fill up anything on form that won't fit there. And keep asking questions on the forum that you need help with. Best wishes, mate! :)

PS - What about reference letters? That $hit can be painful at times.

Lol, I concur.

Actually, I thought FBI thing might take long so why not move it first. Till the time it comes, all others would be ready hopefully.

On the point of using additional pages, it is not that I have more information (i.e. more rows and columns needed). It is just that certain names of organizations etc are long to fit in the boxes. And the PDF forms have a pre-set large font size, that doesn't fit the names. I find it weird to use a separate sheet just for this simple long-name issue.

As for points, it is 52, without language points.

Reference letter should be OK in my case. I can get one from my current employer, and I would need one more from my previous. Good relations throughout. Unless I am missing some hidden challenges involved.

Thanks for the wishes.

Regards

As far as I know, it is not waived, under any circumstances (100% sure). Quoting CIC.
No, there are no exceptions to this rule. If the program you are applying under asks for a mandatory language test, you must take the test and submit the results, no matter what.
Canada wants to assess all applicants against the same standards, no matter their language of origin, nationality or ethnicity.
Even someone from an English-speaking country, who speaks English as a first language, would need to take the test.

And it has to be submitted along with the application (100% sure). Quoting CIC
Note. If you do not submit the results of your official language proficiency test indicating that you meet the required proficiency level with your application to the CIO, your application will not be processed and will be returned to you as incomplete.

I would suggest going outside Washington state and getting done with IELTS within next week or two. Might take a few days for score to arrive at home. Neither can you submit score later nor can it be waived. Even an English fellow from England can't get it waived. And why do FSW preparation half-heartedly? Get done with everything by June end or latest by mid July will be my suggestion. Rest is up to you. Good luck!
PS- I know of folks who go to another country during desperate times to give TOEFL or GMAT or GRE exams. :)

Can anybody tell me what certification is required to get translation birth certificate from Hindi to English???? What all stamps required or else only notary public stamp is more than enough for CIO. Please guide
