Just about to finish up generic application. At the last part of it, should I type my name (option is available)-, or I need to sign it after print. One more thing, where to attach picture in the form?

As always, Thanks for your help.

VALIDITY THE FORM FIRST THEN PRINT THE FORMS WITH THE BAR-CODE GENERATED.
Write your name and sign accordingly. Please don't forget to date the form.

Do not attach picture.

Place all the 6 photos in a small size envelope.

Best of luck

Here is my observation regarding the list CIC has issued today:

There is especially one key NOC code which can help us determine the cut-off date of the updated NOC list.
Take a look at the 3012 for example;
There are 2 PERs in the forum spreadsheet whereas the CIC list shows only one.
Even if we take for granted the only 3012 application in the CIC list is a canadavisa.com member, this alone puts the "LATEST" possible cut-off date of the CIC list to either
a) 1st of May - if they are taking the received stamp date into consideration (and absolutely not the 2nd of May)
b) Between 23rd of May - 27th of May if they are considering the fee charge date
c) Between 30th of May - 5th of June if they are considering the PER sent date
This analysis based on this NOC alone is sufficient to say one thing for sure; the CIC list is absolutely back dated (an old list)

I believe, for any logical project management task the finalization date of any step of the project "is the approval date" (CC charge) and not the "announcement date" (PER email).

So even if we assume that the only person approved under NOC 3012 in the CIC list is one of our forum members, that puts the date of the list either to 1st of May or to between 23rd and 27th of May.
The "as of" statement (despite the wrong date) means -at least in the business norms- the "approved" number of applications as of that date.

So, according to the above reasoning the CIC list reflects the number of approved complete applications as of, some date between 1st and 27th of May, which is still a huge gap.
But this reasoning shows us one more equally important fact; it is completely meaningless to drive some ratios by comparing the current forum spreadsheet and the CIC list.

BTW, this was my first post on this forum, so, hello and good luck to all fellow future Canadians :)

Edit: I've sent an e-mail to CIC asking them to fix the "as of" date to reflect the actual and correct date.
This is a very interesting take on the latest updated numbers by the CIC. But I really doubt that these are the real numbers.

Hi All,

1 question that's coming in my mind after reading all the curiosity and apprehensions of the CAP being filled is; The spreadsheet for 2013 PR shows positive reviews for applications sent in july, this is for NOC 2132 which is not the hottest but definitely a front runner.....so are the apprehensions a bit hyped or are the dynamics different this time !!

Wow, 43 already under 1112 :'( , I don't think I stand any chance now. I am a 23rd May applicant. So 43 who have complete applications as of???? Does that mean those who fall under those dates as we have seen cc charged till 6th. So should we say as of 6th they have closed all received applications or not??

Hello,

I submitted my fsw 2014 pr application in NOC 2173 on 2nd of May and received PER today 5th of june. But just found out that I did mistake in writing my father's full name. Basically, my father's middle name is Rambhai in passport but I wrote in family information form as Ramlal as it is quite a bit common in india to use suffix "bhai" or "lal" interchangeably and I just noticed it. But still somehow my application received Positive eligibility review and DD charged. Does anybody can advice if I can do anything to let CIC know about this mistake and ask them to change it and reconsider or I should not let them know about it??? I am confused and afraid that in future of they find out such a discrepancy that they may consider rejecting my application in later stages or what are the chances that they are going to find it out in future though it is actually a minor mistake but how severe could be the results of such a mistake...any idea???

Please help!

HI forumers!!

Can someone enlighten me on this matter?
As per CIC Eligibility requirements,it is stated that "

"in one of the 50 eligible occupations, and whose application is received under the occupation's sub-cap and overall FSW
cap"

What does subcap means?
If i one is eligible to apply for an NOC Code of 0911( manufacturing managers), can someone also be eligible to its subcaps say for example 2131 (Industrial manufacturing engineer)?
Total cap 25000
sub cap 1000 per noc provided that total cap not exceeded.

I think this is 43 as of May 1, because the number is only based on PER, not CC charged. I fear the cap will be over by May 9 or May 15 max.

I doubt it my friend, in the spreadsheet only I can see people with 2nd May who have got PER under 1112. Do not give statements without reviewing what you are quoting. Never mislead my friend as it doesn't earn any reward ever. God bless u

On the foot note it says as of May 4 2013.
I think it means 2014. ;D

Footnotes
Footnote 1
The number of complete federal skilled worker applications received as of May 4, 2013 is an estimate.

Spicy
To be precise, it means May 1, 2014 and I think CIC will correct this soon.

Note that, "as of May 1, 2014" will remain same for this whole program. Here "as of" means "from" and not "on/till date".

The Table CIC provided only covers May 1, 2014. The key is the code 3012 the exact match, wherein only 1 applicant were included in the cap (per cic), and 1 applicant received per may 1 PER ON the excel table here.

So to calculate the amount of people compared to the number of people worldwide lets use 2174 (the hottest NOC).
PER as of may 1 =3 (canada visa) / Per as of may 1= 39 (per cic)

3 divided by 39 multiply by 100 = 7% (in other words this forum only represents 7% of the total fsw applicants worldwide)

As of may 5 (cc charged under 2174) in the canada visa spreadsheet= 16 (so this 16 represent the 7% of global applicants, so the total predicted applicants recieved complete for that day-may 5 globally is already 228-229 )

formula:
Converting percentage to a decimal:
7% = 7 / 100 = 0.07

16 is 7% of what
= 16 / 7
= 16 / 0.07
= 228.57

so on the average the cic give away 45 PER for 2174 globally per day. (228.57 PER DIVIDED BY 5 Days) with that we can predict that 2174 will be cap full on MAY 22 or earlier.

HOWEVER, THE LIMITATION of this computation is that we are really not sure of the number of applications received per day. we are basing it on AVERAGE applications received daily so the margin of error +/- is still big . we can get a more accurate analysis as they release more data. That's all i can analyze for now.

Just a thought.

Nice analysis

I believe the fast filling up of 2174 and other caps that were included last year might be the result of the overflow from the last year's CAp. These are the people who already have all the necessary documents for FSW.

Just a thought.

See the analysis from NewYork101 I am basing it on that. That is why I say May 1, according to NOC3012 case. So as per that NOC1112 represents only 5% on spreadsheet according to you. Rest you can do the calculations given these assumption.
