Looks like a credible observation if based on PER by looking 3012 alone... It is the single day processing I guess and it will surely increase sharply in the next days.. I am torn which statistical model will I use to interpolate the caps! LOL!

By the PERs for the NOC 3012 .. it seems this recent data is of single day processing or 1st May or it includes fraction of 2nd May.

But again its hard to predict exactly as this is not a real time data So to me it looks like the spreadsheet is anything between 5 % + to 10% at this moment ,,, this may shrink as the time pass so whatever number of 2174 people we have in spreadsheet just multiply by approximately 15 or 20 to get the real situation ..

I feel NOC 2174 and 1112 people of 9th May or some of 12th May are safe .. ( remember last time in 2013 , rise of updates was almost exponential for these NOCs )

Good luck to everyone ;D 8)
So the 157 applications were ALL recieved on the 1st of May? What about the forum members who have applied later and also recieved PERs? Won't they be counted in the CIC CAP update?

HI forumers!!

Can someone enlighten me on this matter?
As per CIC Eligibility requirements,it is stated that "

"in one of the 50 eligible occupations, and whose application is received under the occupation’s sub-cap and overall FSW
cap"

What does subcap means?
If i one is eligible to apply for an NOC Code of 0911( manufacturing managers), can someone also be eligible to its subcaps say for example 2131 (Industrial manufacturing engineer)?

Hmmm... if some of the May 1 applicants are really "walk ins"... there will be more chances for the forumers since if that is true, it skews the data on May 1 or 2... I don't think people will walk in after that, majority after those are received by couriers.

PER received for May 1 for 2174 is now just 3 vs. 39... So I would say 10%-15% multiplier (geometrically) but not sure where is the point of inflection by which the sharp increase in applications will finally descend (where the biggest multiplier will be obtained). Looking at the forum, it is May 7, so expect maximum multiplier by then

You are interpreting the information wrongly. There are 50 eligible NOC titles, and under any one of those 50 titles, CIC will accept 1,000 applications maximum. The 1,000 is the subcap.

First of all there's no such thing as "walk in" applications...it is not mentioned anywhere on the CIC website...applications are sent by mail or couriered. ..so let's nip that in the bud right now and never think about it again.. ;D

Second...I don't think we can assume that the 39 applications under 2174 are only 1st May applicants. ..wish I knew till which date these apps are but quiet sure they're not only one day...

But you are right we all know that applications recieved will start to increase exponentially as more and more applicants finalize their documents and send them off

These are two different NOC codes.
You have to choose one of the two and apply with it accordingly.
Note:Use the one that mostly describe your main duties.
NOC 0911 and 2131 will have a maximum of 1000 applicants respectively
Best of luck

Saving account/currents accounts are expected to be fluctuated. Generally CIC requires this proof at both the time of application and at the time of landing in Canada. In between, the fund could be fluctuated. No where it is said that applicant must hold the fund - some PNP however categorically mention it.

To be safe said, ensure that, your average balance does not go below the settlement fund - use the fund and later on deposit the amount.
I have one question on this matter.. If i use the fund (i am showing during application) to purchase land property later on..? can i not justify the low bank balance with the purchase documents..? Finally no one would like to keep more amount in saving account.

there is only 1 in the CIC figure for 3012 and looking at the spreadsheet, only one received PER so far... not unless they are not consistent with the guideline counts

yeah but what if they depend it on the number of PER sent regardless of dates like in 2174, 3 pers on May 1 and 2 pers on May 2.... thus it will reduce the multiplier... I rrally think the multiplier for 2174 is very near or slightly higher than x10
