thanks guys, oh, quick question, all my documents are in english do they have to be certified? has anyone already gotten PR? Im so afraid I have 72 points is there anything i need to know about applying for the FSW, dont want to make any mistakes, for proof of funds are bank statements enough? If I have land or a house do I write the value of it in Canadian dollars and send proof that I own it?

CIC hasn't posted this information yet. Once it's posted, it will consistently be 6-8 weeks behind.

well just to get an idea.. i would say, just see the total applications for NOC 2174 each day in our forum
if it represents 5%

1st May forum 6 so global ... 120
2nd may forum 7 so global ... 140
5th May forum 12 so global ... 240
6th May forum 7 so global ... 140
7th May forum 25 so global 500 probably cap reach by 6th or 7th May

that is just my pessimistic estimation, because for 6th May we saw only CC charge for NOC 2173 not from either
of hot NOCs like 1112 or 2174

May 6,7,8 period are too crucial to the hot NOC's I guess since this will boost the cap count to several hundreds I guess.

our forum represents 25-30% according to last years data. also this year cap for every profession is 1000, not 500

brother "last year" is not this year there were 100s in our forum just sitting due to cap reached including me
and nobody knows how many were outside the forum ..on 5 to 7th there will be tsunami of applications
I am just being realistic.. just see the forum has 25 application on 7th may alomst 40% till 7th May ,

last year it was very new because of ECA and IELTS ,, this year no hurdle ,, I may sound harsh to others but reality will be
clear in just few days !!

no , there is a difference in 2173 and 2174 , 2173 is more towards software architect , it is also confusing
lets hope for the best

people who can apply for 2174 can apply for 2173 too, so the quota is doubled (2000)this year
