With the help of this forum I am almost ready send my application to CIC. just waiting for ECA to arrive today. Although I have put my CC details on the payment form i was just wondering if i should change to DD. I checked with my bank, HSBC UK, and they say they have stopped issuing DDs now. I went to the post office and they said they dont do money order (only money gram - whats the difference?).
Do let me know if any one has any suggestions / comments.

My HR Manager is willing to write a reference letter mentioning my roles and resposiblities and other details but she is not willing to address it to CIC . She is ready to write it for universities(Education purpose and not for immigration).
Can somebody please help me by confirming if i can use this letter.

Please if i have Job duties and title that matches a particular NOC with my first(previous) work experience of 5 yrs plus and i have currently with my new Job a different Job title but with same Job duties that matches the NOC in question,what do i do ? I need help please !

Don't worry title doesn't matter more it's roles and responsibilities which matters.
Roles can be same with different designations

I don't have any asset on my name and I don't have any liabilities too.. I just have my bank balance as 12000 CAD.. what can I do in this case??

Anything you own of monetary value is an asset. Your bank balance is cash which is an asset. Any provident funds, fixed deposits, etc. are assets.

If all you have are liquid and unencumbered funds such as cash bank deposits, then assets = however much you have, liabilities = zero, settlement funds = same as assets.

It does not mean that its "pouring" globally, its drizzling there as well. Yes, the outside universe is expanding (or larger than our initial estimate) and some of those who get wet become visible.

Guess because.. almost 3 days and how many people in forum charged? just 6 and out of 6 .. 3 just popped up when their cc charged,, by this u can understand how many are hiding and silent members !!

I want to apply for the federal skilled worked program and I do qualify for 4214. Its compulsory that we need to get 6 bands in IELTS in all the tests. Also is there any site where I can check if I meet the 67 points criteria.

Then brother, I can suggest u to take papers from immediate line manager from ur dept (avoiding HR)..

It will also be accepted...

I have a friend of mine who was working with me in my organization but he has moved to another organization now. Can i take a reference letter from him saying that he worked with me and mentioning my roles and responsiblities . He is ready to give his contact details but doesnt have a business card and so he will attach a copy of his id card . and then an affidavit saying the letter head cannot be provided.

Please help me . How do I go about it .

Yes, it is a pre-requisite to score 6 in all areas of IELTS.

Finished filling up the forms. Required documents completed. Yet so afraid to send the documents. I checked it like 5 times already.

I thought you know some applicants who were charged.

Last year my file was returned due to cap; i think, you also had also gone through the same bitter experience. At least this year, we both surely will be in the cap and need not be worry about it. So, if we are not anxious about the cap, let us not reminding others also about what could happened.
