Thank you for your reply Century. I checked my promotion letter and it says Promoted to Assistant Manager effective 1st August 2013. I am planning to apply under NOC 0112, Human Resources Manager by the end of June as I am awaiting IELTS results. Can I apply in the managerial category as at the time of application I just need 1 month to complete 1 year as an assistant manager. The CIC may only open my file after August, wherein at that time I would've already completed the 1 year tenure. Please advise

In the Background Declaration form, how long tenure will you be given till date at the end of June?

In India what will be will be elementary / primary school and secondary / high school education.

1 to 10 primary
10 to 12 high school

If you are going to complete one year there will no issues at all.

Dear Can2174,

As per current trend of New Delhi visa office, u can assume an avg processing time of 9-10 momths which is very reasonable time i guess...

So if its possible not to spend that money, Then my suggestion is to stop getting that LMO...Coz that is also a time consuming process...

And it may save a little time (going with LMO process )as per my experience....So just get patience a bit more...

Thank you ashif. Even I am thinking same as you. But since I don't have file number yet. I should not say anything to employer. Let him go ahead with LMO in parallel. Let's hope for the best.

And for your information. If you apply for LMO. It takes 6-7 mopnths to get LMO approved. I suggest you to go with FSW. It will good for everyone rather to apply with LMO.

We are worry because his grade was average.
However we think grades back in school should not be a problem since is the work experience matters.

Your work experience must be in an occupation listed in Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations), Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) of the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC).

Is this means our occupation must be listed either in Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or Skill Level B

Or it is combination of Skill Type + Skill Level ??

To be more sure, I am raising such query.

I was promoted from Senior Executive to a Assistant Manager 8 months ago, can I apply in NOC of Managers? However my roles and responsibilities have been same for over 3 years.

Yes you can apply if your roles & responsibilities are matching with that noc.

Get new picture without scarf & spectacles. as they are not valid for application.

It means, to claim experience points, your NOC should fall Skill Type 0 or Skill Level A or Skill Level B.

Sam got experience in NOC 0111 for 3 years (Skill Type 0), and 1112 for 4 years (Skill Level A). So he can claim points against 7 years.

Thaye will count experience upto that date when you submit your application. They will not count the days when they open your application from date of receipt.
