Checklist also states that - Submit photocopys of Current or expired entry /exit stamps .

It is little confusing . If we submit all the pages of passport for family it will come more than 100 pages for passport itself in my case .

You are to submit copies of entry/exit stamps only if the VO you selected is not the VO responsible for your country of citizenship.

Is it really compulsary to send copies of passport with stamps of entry / exit if you are appling from the country of your residence only?
As per the checklist, we only need to provide the copy having name, date of issue, expiry, etc.
However, under proof of admission it is mentioned to give copy of pages having stamps of previous entry/exit?

If you take loan of CAD 20000, showed assets of CAD 20000, and also showed settlement fund of CAD 20000 - do you think it will work?

Other assets is not required but liability is something sensitive, it could limit your settlement fund; if you cite any liability, I beleive, it should be disclosed. Also, i think, all credit card users should show their liability and credit card statement, else VO might think you could hide something more. Just show you are transparent.

I am a DD user and showed zero liability.

I don't think Credit card is a Liability so long as timely pay the 'Minimum amount due' . Well, if you have done Balance transfer or loan on CC or outstanding amt carried fwd then it is a Liability

For a CAP of 300 last year, they got filled in 25 days.
For a CAP of 1000 this year, it should be safe to say by 40-50 days. That's just a personal prediction and it could be earlier than that.

Obviously, there is no linear relationship between CAP and no. of days to fill the CAP because applicants apply in parallel from across the globe and many files will reach CIO on the same day. It's actually hard to predict.

I'll be landing Toronto and temp. staying in Mississauga for 1-2 weeks and come back to India on 25-May as my Indian job is still up.

I managed a job with Dolby Laboratories as Tech. Consultant and will be freely based in Canada. It an office-in-home job since Dolby operations are directly taken care from California and have no hard-furniture office in Canada. Position starts in July.

As soon as wife gets a job, I'll settle at that place.

Hi - Can anyone help me here? I'm a bit confused as to what is the right NOC for my Shared Services Finance role I have done. On one side, I see NOC 0111 Financial Manager and I have done the following:
1) Develop and implement the financial policies, systems and procedures of an establishment
2) Co-ordinate the financial planning and budget process, and analyze and correct estimates
3) Led implementation and design of our new financial reporting dashboard capability as well as prepared recommendation on FX calculation methodology for Organic Sales reporting.
4) Performed month-end reconciliation of management books on month-end closing
6) Perform P&L reconciliation on monthly forecast changes
5) Business support & training on financial reporting systems

However, when I read through the details it seems like a very senior position which I am not. How should I differentiate it with NOC 0125? Currently, I am a Financial Analyst by designation and covers most of the duties for about 2 years, however my previous Shared Services job I was able to do for 4 years.

Care to feedback? Thoughts?

NOC with '0' prefix is Mgr/ Sr Mgr level as per Canada. So if you are in India, you have to be atleast AVP/VP/ Director in your Co. with atleast 7-8 yrs experience.
Since your designation is 'Financial Analyst'.. pls see if you can match your main Job duties with that of Financial Analyst in NOC 1112 (it also includes Investment Analyst which you may ignore)
