Seniors...Any advise

Just the pages from your current passport. If you had a Canadian Visa previously, they will easily track it.

In my case, I had a Canadian Visitors visa (expired). At time of filling the application, I did not know that I already had a UCI number so I left the column blank. In my PER mail, my UCI number is same as it was in my earlier Visitor Visa.

So, send only relevant pages of your current passport.

Where we can get total number of application received by CIC for each category, I am under 2174 and i am starting my skill assessment today , is there any chance to getting PR this year ?

I have few more queries:

1. As the bank draft in Bangladesh can only be taken from Standard Chartered Bank, do they accept bank statements and letter for settlement funds from other banks? Please comment.

2. Is combination of Fixed deposit, and savings balance acceptable for settlement funds?

3. Also as you know Bangladesh National ID cards don't have expiry dates , in this case did you include your national id info or left it blank?

One thing I would like to ask the forum. I have 2 years of experience in NOC 1112 as Investment Analyst for a private firm. Most of My job duties match with job duties required for noc 1112 in NOC description of NOC 1112 by CIC. But I am graduate Engineer in Electronics. So can I show that as experience or not? As they said the persons should ave performed majority of duties including main duties that I sure perform but my education is not as in their req. So advise me on this.

Give one more Noc option. They will put either one. Last year my friend mentioned engg mgr or mech er. As cap filled for engg mgr they given mech engg & he got visa also. Ensure ur exp covers both NOC. U ll be in.

But I have my masters from Canada and bachelor's from Pakistan, so ECA is for degrees that are not from Canada

Can we do that really? Only get our highest qualification, MSc in my case, rather than having Bachelors assessed too?

The thing is getting my Bacheors Degree attested by y University takes well over a month inclduing a lot of legwork, which I cannot afford to do myself as I am not residing in India anymore. On the other hand getting my UK University to forward these transcripts directly to WES looks a fairly easy and convenient process, as everything happens online and quickly.

Hey,

I am new at this process and wanted some advice. I am a B Tech grad and has been working in India for past 6 years. Wanted to know if i am eligible for applying PR. Also wanted to know the time lines for the same? When i looked up in the immigration website questionaire it said i might be qualified. BTW in the profession category mine comes under 2133.

If i start applying this year it would take ~10 months to get it processed?

Applications start only after May 1st every year? If i start thinking now and apply sometime in June or July will i stand a chance to get or should i try only next year? Kindly help.

I am sure the answers will raise many more questions 8)
