CIC tells:

"Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document ( notarized)."

So u have three action point as per above...If u have still confusion let me know...

Yes u have nothing to do make 15 points right now...I guesssssssssss........So better try to arrange by other means (spouse IELTS) if dont have 7 already..

Say some one is holding the position as Service Engineer under NOC 2132 (Mech engineer).


He did another Job five years back with another NOC 2133 (Electrical Engg). He worked as Production Engineer. By this NOC experience he want to apply.

So for

12 -a: "Identify the primary occupation and corresponding four-digit NOC 2011 code that will be used to assess whether your application meets the minimum program requirements:

Occupation : Production Engineer NOC : 2133

12 -b: Starting with your current occupation, list all of the occupations that you have had in the 10 years preceding the date of your application.

First occupation : Service Engineer NOC : 2132

Second Occupation : Production Engineer NOC : 2133


Here is the CIC guidelines for Schedule-3:

Your work experience

I am working in the same company from the past 2 years but for first 8 months i was working as a an Assistant Financial Analyst (NOC 1112) - and currently from 1.4 years i am working as a Junior Financial Analyst (NOC 1112)after my promotion..
Planning to apply in 1112 as the primary NOC.
so in form 3. economic class shuld I write them in that way:

12.a. Junior Financial Analyst NOC 1112

12.b. 12.2012 - present Junior financial Analyst NOC 1112 1 year but less than 2 main duties:.....

04.2012 - 12.2012 Assistant Financial Analyst NOC 1112 Less than 1 year

Can anyone answer this please... It seems like RBI has set out 3 months of validity for DD. Is there an alternative?

Regarding DD , where in India can I get it apart from banks? E.g. Thomas Cook, etc?

Now a days most of the Credit cards accept foreign currency transactions. However, it is always good to check with your bank whether they support canadian dollar or not. I called Citibank to know the same and they said yes they support for the card that I hold. They also told me that an extra charge of 3.5% (+service tax) will be levied on my transaction. I then immediately made my mind to go thru the DD route because by doing so I can save around INR 2000 easily. Today I got my DD from HDFC bank equally easily as using a credit card.

Is it valid for 6 months? I approached HDFC too and they say the validity is just 3 months

Hello Experts and seniors,

May be this is repetitive but I am confused that is why I am asking.

I am mechanical planning to apply under 2132.

Now in form IMM0008_3e in 12(a) I will write my NOC code as 2132. But it says to select my primary occupation from BELOW.

Now ideally my primary occupation should be MECHANICAL ENGINEER as per the NOC, but in 12(b) I am writing my designations / positions and not my occupations. So no where in 12(b) it is written MECHANICAL ENGINEER

It says Senior Engineer, Assitant Manager, Deputy Manger, etc.

Kindly guide what OCCUPATION shall I select and write in 12(a)

For question 12 a - > What can I say a attachment letter if my Job role occupation is not in the "Example job title" from the NOC website.

Will this suffice? - > Please note my Current Job and duties are equivalent to Senior managers 0013??

Cant I just state the role I've stated in 12b in question 12a?

Can you please elaborate following issue :: Overall CAP of 25000 but if we multiply 50 occupation with 1000 applications per Occupation then its getting 50000 ? How ?

Hi Brother,

I checked the section 13.Where they mentioned 'secondary OR post-secondary educational documents'.There is no specific direction to submit secondary documents along with post-secondary documents.Moreover,they mentioned to submit original ECA report along with the proof of the foreign educational credentials FOR WHICH YOU ARE CLAIMING POINT.

My problem is some mistake in SSLC (10th)certificate.

So i think it is better to avoid this certificate to reduce confusion.

What is your opinion friends ?
