First CONGRATULATION to ASHIF_EEE and to all members in the forum for achieving 10K pages. This 10K pages answered all the questions raised by members to process the PR application in successful manner. :-* :-* :-*

I got MR from NDVO on 28/11/2014 without the 2nd line update, but today 2nd line updated and says "We started processing your application on November 26, 2014."

TimeLine:

Application received Date: 12th June
CC Charged on : 14th October
PER Received on : 22nd October
Processing Started on : 26th November
Medical Request on : 28th November

I got per on 28oct but ECAS status is still showing "we received ur pr application on 2nd JULY." What will be the next message . . .

Nothing to do now, wait for your turn you will receive MR or 2nd line update.

Hello everybody,

I'm having a problem getting my ECA report, the faculty of my graduation in Libya is closed since last MAY due to civil war , thus it couldn't send my graduation TRANSCRIPT to the Canadian PEBC. Only one month remaining for 2014 FSW program and the Canadian PEBC will not send me the ECA report so that I would send my file to CIC.

what is your advice ?

can I send the application without ECA report ? do you have any previuos experience or resembling case ? and what would be the CIC reaction if I write a letter explaining the reasons for missing ECA within the envelope ?

my application was sent back due to job description that doesnt match; In one of the returned forms they have noted my UCI 8 digit numer - do i have to include this in my new application form; Planning to apply again but for different NOC this time

You can include it but if you don't, CIO will assign the same number again.

The reason doesn't matter. ECA report is required and without it application is not complete. Incomplete applications are returned without review.
I think that, instead of explaining it to CIC, you should try to explain the situation to WES or other assessing agency to accept notarized copy of your transcript directly from you due to the reasons you mentioned.

Try to get in touch with WES and explain them your case, that's the only advice I can give you. They might have a workaround for certain cases like yours I think.

Hello! I think there is no other way but to have an eca result together with your application or it will be marked incomplete...


I greatly sympathetise to your situation... I used to work in libya.. I just came back home last August due to war..

was away for a while, logged in as soon as i got hold of my computer.

number of people withs econd line and no MR are increasing day by day. and mostly there from the May 2014 batch.

its been 110 days fro me since PER 68 since second line appeared.

just thought of updating teh forum...cheers

Indresh, you haven't received your MR yet? Did you write to your VO to enquire about the status of your application?

I am 22nd October Applicant.

I had applied for PCC from Passport Office along with my Spouse's one which I received today. I hope it is not early..

How many days it will take?

It won't be an issue. My work experience letter didn't had a website and I went through CIO initial steps and also VO background check. As long as you have written contact numbers or email addresses, the job description matches with the NOC your are applying under and the amount of worked hours gives you the right amount of points you are fine.
