First of all thanks a million to all the helpful forum members. I have been silent visitor of this forum for past 1 month.

I have applied under FSW in August 2014.

NOC : 2174
File received : 5 Aug, 2014
Payment mode D

According to some threads in this forum its clear that 2174 was capped with mid June files of which I was not aware when I applied.

Also there is no email or any other communication from cic and my application package is not returned back yet.

I would like to ask seniors, how long would it take to expect the application package back?

to charge the card. Just keep yoir bank bank informed that your are expecting a foreign transaction of xxxx amount, ensure you have sufficient International limit available and your sms service is enabled.

They do need CVV!

There has been so much discussion on this, they do ask CVV for various reasons but trusted merchants in Canada including CIO can charge cards without CVV. CVV required only if you are making online payments.

Yes, prepare for ee. As for fsw2014, you have already applied, you can only wait and pray for that.

Hi Prasad,

You are completely out of race for 2171 as that NOC is capped up. Even August and September applicants are confused about their status.

Sorry about your application.

Instead of waiting for your app to return back start applying for 2172 or 2281.

Please act fast and don't delay any single day from now. Send your second app by december 15.

November applicants for 2171 are completely out of race. However, I don't want to deny your fact about waiting for EE but we don't know about their guidelines. Instead I would recommend all the applicants to find alternate NOC and file their application before christmas. At least they would be safe for this year. I don't want to miss them this opportunity.
