Please could you advise if I can go ahead and fill the last years' form for my application. I saw the 26 Apr gazette update but it does not have any info of the new fee structure or the new forms. what is you advise ? shud one wait till 1st May or fill last years' forms and dispatch it ? ???

Don't download any form until 1st May 2014 and that too CIC working hours. Pls take into consideration any difference between Canadian time and your local area time.

However, just to get an idea and get acquainted with the forms and instructions you may read FSW2013 Application package.

Can you please tell me precisely what notarization means (in Pak) ?
Do we have to attest/verify the photocopies from a Govt officer or from someone who is a laywer? or is there something else?

Yes its some kind of lawyer with license...Notary Public --I guess universal one...

The same apply I Pakistani national living in London.
Currently I am living in London but going back to my home country in June.

Ashifee- so do we have to notarise all the photocopies of our marksheets to provide with the ECA/ passport copies and stuff?

Yes all educational +Passport notarized but ECA is original...

Nothing useful other than few basic points.

You will find a lot of info in Instruction guide.

Just a suggestion for everyone:

Apart from the Originals (IELTS & ECA), get every page of the photocopy (if photocopy runs into more than 1 page for example in passport) notarized.

Although this is not mandatory, but it would cause you no harm.

Also, if some document (example Letter of Reference) is unavailable, write a letter explaining the reason and add an affidavit if possible. This adds credibility.
