Dear members,

I received MR and RPRF request on 11th November. NDVO
Done with medical.
But I did one silly mistake. I sent DD of INR 60000/- instead of 53400/- for RPRF fees.
Is it a problem ?
What should i do ?

Offcourse it is a problem.. You may be getting an email or call from NDVO soon to send the exact amount.. They won't encash a DD of even Rs. 53401/-. So get ready with a new DD of exact amount and if you have more money then please let me know, I will provide my A/C details with IFCI code.. You can transfer rest of the amount to me ;D :-*

I got PER on 16 October..........But till now I have not received MR request from NDVO......please help Admin.......!!

I wish that is the case.. Yes I have sent query on 2nd November but I don't think I will be able to hear from them before middle of December.. I was patient until I saw they are giving PER to applicants later than my date.. And now almost all the July applicant's have received their PER and they are working on August's PER and charging September applicants.. I am losing it now brother

1. Which method is better : DD or Online Payment?

2. Incase i opt for Online Payment, can i use my friend's credit card for the payment as i dont have one. ?

3. Time line:
App Filed - 06 June
PER - 01 Oct
2nd line update - 24 Nov

Please let me know when shall i expect the MR request ?

According to me payment through DD is much better option as you can inquire and know whether its been encashed or not

Both of the method are good.. There will be a negligible difference in conversion rate and fees in CC method.. And yes you can use friends CC but why do you want to use if you have option of DD.. After all you have to give that money back to your friend.. Then why not go directly for DD in favour of Canadian High Commission..

In this case CC is charged or not will also be known to you so no issues in using CC.. CC is not advisable with the application to CIC as CIO may have some issue with charging it.. In this case you will have the CC details in your hand and even you can call your bank in case of any issues..
