In the Canada Gazette on CIC website. Everyone is aware about this.
Now we need to see if any new instruction cuts short the FSW14 program. If not, the program continues till April 30th 2015.

In the Operational Bulletin 572 we still have it, but later , in the CIC FAQ we got the following:
"Will skilled immigrants be considered under both the current immigration program rules and Express Entry in 2015?

No. Each application is assessed according to the eligibility requirements and caps in place at the time CIC receives it. In order to be considered for Express Entry, people will have to express interest separately (starting in January 2015) using a new electronic application management system. There will not be any application caps or occupation lists at the launch of Express Entry."

And we also are seeing this statement one several places:

These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015.

I have some people inquiring me about it by using these statements, so I decided to ask around.

Dear Expert,

I would like to know one thing. In my ECAS the 2nd line has updated on 24-Oct-2014 but still I donot get any further communication from my visa office. I am bit concerned is there any issues or it is normal. I am also bit afraid, whether I deleted the mail accidentally during clear my Spam mail box. I am not very sure. In such case is there any way to communicate with my visa office.

I have applied from Bangladesh.
My Visa office is Singapore.
My 2nd line is updated on 24th October 2014.
I have applied under 2171 category.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Best wishes for all of you....

Dear,

This is a positive indication....

This line is added (usually ) before rcving Medical instruction....

Although if u r so much worried then u may send a CASE specific Enquiry...:)

https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=singapore

State ur query or u may ask ur file status...:)

All the best....

Hello everyone,

ksa0510 I checked in SS there about 71 applications for 2171 from 21st July till 2nd September, lets take it as 80 means globally 240 and lets make it 300. Now 553+300 makes it 853, means still there is hope for September applicants at least till mid of September. But still fingers crossed for Sep 2171 :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Yeah But still its all about luck now after 2171 reaching 1000.My application reached on 8th Sept and I am applicant of 2171.

Agreed that it can take time and i know that nobody's application affects nobody else's application . But wrong entries (if they were )would give wrong estimates (which challenges the purpose of SS)

Also as per my relatives and friends(Canadians now) who underwent similar process few years ago, claim that PPRs are generally issued within a month of MR requests .so ideally it shud follow the same pattern as that of MR's which doesn't seem to be the case .

Yes.. I agree.. after medicals there should not be anything to stop them to send PPR other than the backlog of last/past applicants PPRs.. And as per the FSW 2013 spreadsheet I don't think that there is any such backlog...
As per one of forumities here on FSW 2014 it seems that he sent and email to NDVO to check the next steps then he got the reply that there is nothing expected form his side and they will contact soon after the processing is done.. So, its just one more round of wait.. As per "vamshi" he received the passport withing a week with stamped visa.. So hope there wont be any long wait after PPR sent to NDVO from our side..

it will continue UNLESS 'ministerial instruction' r floated..

advisable not to take risk for EE,
apply by dec 14.avail fswp benefits :)

Thanks for replying, I already applied thru FSW 14 and I agree with you about the ppl applying prior January, 1st, but my question is, don't you think that the EE launch cannot be considered as being the new 'ministerial instructions'?
