Helloo friends

I ve 2 queries tht my friend has asked.

1. He has gold as savings.. how can he use it as proof of funds??

2. He wants to apply at earliest but his wife hasnt gave the IELTS yet.. date vailable is of 5th december. If he register her for 5th he'll not be able to get the result before 21st dec. He is scoring more thn 67 points even without ielts score of his wife. Please suggest how should he handle this situation.

He is marketing manager working in dubai.

11 july...............today got app back

in the cic letter its says your application do not meet requirements under regulation 10 of IRPA (which means the app needs to be complete in all respect)


in the next page they have highlighted one point which is wrong NOC..... i am a nurse 3012 but i applied in other nurse category 3233....so they have pointed that/......so is the reason my app is back....

i have filled the forms again already with the corrected NOC................also recieved al the supplement docs back...

Do I have a chance? or my application might be on its way back? :-[

My conclusion (Please take with a pinch of salt) - Sep applicants have a strong chance of being in cap for 2171 if forum representation is statistically representative. Oct applicants need a large dose of luck to work for them. I have taken conservative rejection numbers for completeness - 2% as against forum average of 2.75%. Seeing how focused the forum is, these numbers could be upwards of 3.5% in reality which works in favour of October applicants

Good analysis buddy ... would be good if you include analysis till 31st Aug 2014 as well for reference purposes.

dear, normally duties are not mentioned in job offer/contract letter.

better you get them on 'reference letter'

and

get 'contract letter' in back date, i.e when u were hired..

My application is from July 4th, I think I didnt make the cap, my CC never got charge but I had not received my app back yet.
Does any of you know of people in the same situation?

Mine was received on 7th Aug. CC never got charged. haven't received my app back yet....i am a NOC 2171 applicant...... so same situation. Planing to call CIC on Monday. lets hope for best.

Ist Post of page no 9,500. Just 500 more to go for the elusive 10,000 mark. (now not so elusive after all)


The FSW14 program will run upto April 30th 2015 unless it is cut short by a revised ministerial instruction. So apps can be sent in January as well. However to be on the safer side you need to send apps by 31st Dec 2014.
1. Gold cannot be shown as Settlement funds. It can only be shown under assets. If you want to show this as Settlement funds, sell the gold and keep proceeds as FD or in bank balance.
2. If points are already more than 67, he can apply right away. Else to be on the safer side regarding points, wait for IELTS scores, keep all docs ready except the IELTS result. On 21st Dec when you have the IELTS result in hand, attach it to the prepared application set and dispatch through UPS immediately so that it reaches before 31st Dec 2014.
In my view he should apply immediately though.
