ok here is a quick time line

i applied online on May 21.

after that i sent my assessed copied of degrees and transcripts...may be on May 23.

they were reached there by May 25 via urgent DHL.

my ECA report was issued on email on June 17.

i gave them my consultant address of Canada Toronto, so the hard copies were recieved to my consultant by Urgent Mail service, i couldnt remember its name, on June 1.

total fees i paid including all the taxes and charges of courier as well for 2 degrees evaluation.....CAD $ 252.

so it took total 26 days from applying online till getting the hard copies.......and i bet million dollars that its way way faster then WES crawling speeds.

also ces are very good people. they reply ur email within 3 business days including each and every query......u wont even have to call them. they are much much faster than wes s h i t.

canadamylove lucky it didn't take long for you to receive a reply from CES. Both envelopes arrived at Toronto on May 26 and I received the originals in August. Then again I was applying from Colombia so perhaps it takes longer depending on the country from where you are applying.

the procedure is very simple and short.

1. 1st of all there is no s h i t of hec involved here in for CES. it means u dont have to sent ur document copies to HEC to get attested and sealed in envelope. but for precaution what i did was sent my degrees and transcripts to hec to get them attested.....not the copies, only the originals.

2. hec sent me back those after attesting.

3. i made copies of degrees and transcripts, got them attested and sealed from my both unis.......from there examination dept. mostly the conrtoller of examination will do that.

4. i downloaded couple for forms and filled them, signed them.

5. now i sent 3 individual DHL couriers to CES. 1st from my 1st uni....CES requires unis to sent the package directly but mines werent willing to do so....so i did this. one package i sent from my 1st unis name and address. 2nd package i sent from my other unis name and address and the 3rd package i sent from my name and address that included the dowloaded form and some other documents of identity.

6. thats all, they were all received by ces, updated on their online app and within 26 days i was issued equivalency.

can anyone tell me on back of pHoto do we need to write by pen(wHat does endorse means) please advice asap

I m specifically talking abt Pakistani applicants.......yes the case is different for every applicant and for every country.....for some WES is hero but for pakis its S hi T..........for us CES is good and better then WES. also this is not applicable for all paki applicants........there can be different stories even from pak abt CES.

Dear Friends

Kindly guide me. I am preparing my application for FSWP2014 and likely to send it by 20th December. But the problem is that my passport is going to expire by the end of March 2015. Based on this, kindly guide me shall I renew my passport first and then send the application or first send the application asap and then update my new passport as addendum? Considering that if my file reaches near 25th Dec, I will have 90 to 95 days max for my passport validity.
If I am in cap and my application is not checked before March15(i.e. expiry of my passport), will they still issue me PER on expired passport if all goes well with my application and I clear cap for my noc? Or my passport expiry will attract NER if my file is processed after March? Is passport validity a mandatory requirement for PER?
I am very much confused. If I wait for passport it will be near 20th Dec but otherwise I can save almost 10 days in sending my file if I dont wait for passport!
Please guide me seniors and experts, what to do.

You will have to renew it first because they need passport which is valid for atleast 6 months and yours is not.

Really thanks for usefull info. I would like to ask one more information that whether you were in Pakistan at the time you requested your universities to send to send your credentials in sealed envelopes. Because problem with me is that I am abroad and i don't know that whether on my request through email / fax or by courier University of Punjab and Federal Board will send copies of my credentials in sealed envelope. OR else I must have to travel??

Endorsement means that someone who has know you for more than 2 years and not a family member and who works in one of the list of the occupations found in the application should sign "This is YOUR FULL NAME", date, and sign on the back of your photo.
Also, the one who endorse your photo should fill one page of your applications themselves.

yes as per instructions the endorder need to stamp and sign with your full name and date of birth.
