Second, Yes you can make it to cap.
Third, No one can give estimation on that but right now July applicants are getting PER's.

Firstly, I have submitted my documents to CIO and hopefully it will reach there by 21st November.
Regarding the form IMM0008DEP, I didn't include that form in my application package because I have only a spouse and no children. And have mentioned in the checklist as " Not Applicable".

I hope I am in the right direction??

Secondly, NoC 0911 is showing 128 caps as of now. I hope I can make it within the cap.

Lastly, when can I expect to hear my PER from CIO

Why can't you tell your friend's wife to send it to you in urgent by post?? Then you can send it to your VO in one go!

if she send it tomorrow, it will probably deliver on Wednesday 26th(Monday 24th is national holiday here). it is the earliest day. courier like DHL, UPS, FEDEX are not major players in jp.

and using UCI, you can check your ECAS(electronic client application status) at https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do?app=ecas

I am not sure if it is possible but where I live it is possible to send it on urgent bases and can be delivered within day or two.!

Thanks a lot for your response..... spoke to BM and he got confirmation from his nostro team. as per the tieup kotak issues cheques for RBC and under their agreement they have a understanding that the cheques issued are valid for 3 months.... These cheques are given out by Kotak as FCY DDs and kotak has an escrow account with RBC thus the status stale which shows on the system is correct.... however i have requested them to activiate the DD if the instrument is not yet come for negotiation...... do you know anyone who has sent DD from Kotak india. thanks again

Couple of things

1- If at all any instrument such as DD has to re-validated (or its validity has to be extended), they need the physical presence of the pre-issued DD..so basically it can not be done in your case

2- Secondly however, you really do not need to extend the validity anyways...Whenever a foreign DD is issued in collaboration with an international partner (in your cases RBC) in foreign currency, tht DD follows the rule/law of the land where it is supposed to get encashed in (in your case Canada)...And Canadian banks drafts are valid for 6 months..In a nutshell, your DD would remain valid for 6 months (in my opinion)

Hello senior friends.

This is my first post on this forum. Please pardon me if my questions have been answered before. I have searched for answers but i'm not satisfied.

I am about to mail my application under NOC 2172 but I just want to clarify some "little" details before submitting.

1. I signed the forms with a black pen. Any issues with this? I'm concerned that it might look like a photocopied document.

2. Is it OK to put my DD and photos in small envelops and then label the envelops. I'm concerned because of their small sizes.

3. Is it OK to staple my notarized employment letter (3 pages) together?

4. (a) Can my application be returned if one set of photos (out of 7 sets) does not perfectly meet the requirements? My sister's photo does not fit the requirements perfectly. From my assessment, every other thing fits apart from the dimension of her head to chin. (b) Can my application be returned if one of the photo sets is missing from the application?
