Me too may 7 applicant NDVO processing started 11sept. Waiting for MR. NOC 2174 ....are they taking long because these are hot NOCs?

my file 7 may and they started processing 25 sept, and next day I got MR date 26 sept

i think they are doing background check

by the way i just want you tell u that i already go to canada on study visa in 2010 and the came back in 2011, so i think they have all record so they take less time do background check....

its just my thinking....who know how NDVO work.....best luck....

I am new to this forum. Have applied for NOC 2132, 4th Nov'14. I believe that its our turn now as 217* are nearing/reached cap and I just hope that I am not too late. :

Currently CIC has start processing 24th July recv apps,. So, yours may be considered during the first week of Feb 2015. I think you have very little chance but all depends on next cap update from CIC. Hope they don't give a shock. All my best wishes for yu mate, cheers.

Don't worry guys.NDVO is sleeping now.Once they start working, they will issue visas in bulk.

I dont think so that NDVO is sleeping these days ... bcoz. many applicants got medical request these days..
NDVO is behave as step-son for some applicants like me

what no. did u dial? i tried to call a while ago but the agent said that the only way to get status is by email to cio.

This was my 4th call to 001 613 944 4000. The only thing I did differently is that I called them in early hours. between 5.30-6.30 pm India time. There are few agents that have access to that specific database who are able to pull up the information.

Just request them that you need to find out the UCI for your application. He/She will ask you questions about the programme you have applied under and after verifyig few personal questions he/she will give you the client ID and you can also check the status of your application as there are notes available on your file.

Is it game over for 2173 aug 13th applicants? .. no news since past 8 days .. Did same thing happen with 2174 after cap limit reached? what I mean is there was no charging for 7 - 10days for 2174 immediately after cap reached and later it started again .. if this is the case then 2173 aug applicants can still hope if not game over

Hi Prashant,
Don't wait for anything prepare one more set of application, all you need to get it a Original ECA and Original IELTS rest you would be having with you.

Also you need to scrutinize your previous application form which u filled and sent to find the reason why it was rejected so that you dont repeat the same thing again.
Call the CIC again and persuade the agent to give you the reason in brief like DOB or Work Exp or any other thing so that you can over come the same in new package and make it to the CAP successfully with a CC or DD and PER and PR finally.

Thanks for your comments, however I woul still prefer to read the detailed explaination and then proceed with another set as then I will be sure of what I am submitting is absolutely correct.

Another thing. I am not sure why I am not able to pull up the status after typing the Client ID.

Awaiting guidence from senior/experienced members.

You wont be able to pull the details using UCI cause what i learnt myself is that they dont Update the information online on their website untill they have a positive eligibility determination process completed by them.

Even i had UCI it didn't identify me till 16th november, somebody said include hyphen in between the number like this 0000-0000 that didnt help.
But once they en-cashed my DD i was able to get the details on the site i.e it was able to identify me with or without hyphen between number UCI number.

So if i am wrong people please clarify.
In order to find the issue which made them reject the application i think there would be following reasons:

work exp not in line with NOC
Missing BC
Missing Signature for CC Fee Payment
Use of Old Forms
POF Doc
Points not =>67
Missing ECA or IELTS
Missing Photo Graphs
Missing Barcode docs from generic form
Xerox or copies of Affidavits sent
Work Exp self signed

I guess i covered almost all if not please add.
I am sure you would have a copy of the forms sent and the docs attached check them and ask freinds to help and you should find the issue by urself. All the above is to find the issue resolve and send ASAP in the interest of time thats all.

Wanted advice. In the reference letter which is submitted as part of my application, my immediate superior has signed. This reference letter is the one on which my NOC is claimed.

I am wondering, during background check, will visa office be contacting company HR, or will they contact my superior.

If visa office contacts my HR, it is possible they have no idea of this reference letter.

Should I then keep my HR informed of this probable inquiry ? (which I do not want, as it can affect my current growth prospects..)

I am confused..

Please help..

I think it is not over untill its really over !!!!!!!!
have faith all the best.. all we can do is respect the opportunity put all the efforts and attempt whether we make it or not thats another part of the story.

If you have given reference letter which is signed by your supervisor then the doc should contain only the supervisor details who would be called during the background check.
If it is on a company letter head then it would be HR or if you have business card and company letter head they can choose whom to call .

Whose contact details have u given in the reference letter? Your supervisor or ur HR manager?

Just to remind you of my application. My app was received dated 23 June and my payment mode was DD. Till date I have not received any PER/NER.

I just called the CIC number today and found out a 8 digit Client ID, with which I am unable to track the application. The agent over the phone told me that there are notes in your file that it has been returned on 3 Oct 2014. I asked if there is any specific reason mentioned on the file, but she said that the file which is sent contains a detailed explaination letter.

Request if you or any other senior member to advice the next steps and clarify below points

1) By when can I expect the file to reach New Delhi? It was returned from Canada on 3 Oct 2014.
2) My NOC is 0111 and the status on this is 238 Apps. Can I take a chance before Dec 2014?

Prashant really sorry to hear about rejection.

File is sent back through snail mail and it should reach in 20 to 45 days time. You should check with your local and main Post office of your area.

This NOC is not very hot so easily you can make it in December.

Please share was your DD cashed or not.
