Seniors, please help...

My NOC is 2173 and the application reached CIC on 27th Aug (not charged yet). I had my birth certificated attached with name space in certificate <blank>! Perhaps that is because the birth certificate was issued just a day after I was born. Neither I have my parents name on 10th or 12th certificate. It is just on the transfer certificate issued from college. An affidavit was attached in my application stating all these.

I have re-applied for birth certificate and received it today with name imprinted on it.

Should I resend the new birth certificate with application reference? If yes, Please let me know how do I inform CIC to refer old application received on 27th Aug. Is there any formal template for this?

Can't say anything in definite way. CIO seems to work with only 2171 and 2173. Once it will be completed, they may draw their attention on other hot nocs like 2132 and 3012. Then they may work in the normal way. Whatever method they work, I think, you will get news by 1st week of Dec.

Aug 25th CC charged for 2171 NOC. I sthis for real?

I mean it is excellent news for people like me in the NOC but it is too good to be true .. I mean the obvious inference from this news is that count includes till August which would mean that this NOC is going to be wide open till december ..

in hindsight it makes sense that there are different offices in CIC for different NOCs since employment assessor for 1112 will not be same for 2171.. and these different assessors would be working on different wavelength .. 2171 as it seems is working day and night and is currently in AUgust ..

such a good news if my above statements are correct..

I have applied in FSW 2014.
Yesterday I got a message saying the payment to CITIZENSHIP and IMM FSW was declined from the credit card.
Has this happened with anyone?
If yes, What happened next?

I'm in the same boat with you CIC tried to debit my cc yesterday twice in 2 mins but it was declined although i informed the bank several times about this but it happened :-\

Now i went to the bank this morning and informed them to let it go and deposit extra money in my cc just in case there is additional fees or charge.

What do you think guys when will they try to charge my credit card again? today, tomorrow, next week!!!!
Does the two times with difference 2 mins counted as one try or two?

I'm getting nervous and i don't know wht else i can do :'(

Few days back we had a trend.. now for 2171 and 2173 they have no trend at all.. they are so excited to have all IT people in canada asap..
Practically you can wait for 2 weeks time and after that you can shoot a mail to them to enquiry about your file...hope you have their emailid.

Call your Bank & ask them to make this transaction go through. Even check your card limit.
make sure you do this at earliest so that when they charge you again... the transaction goes well!!

Are you using ICICI bank credit card..? As per some new RBI guidelines, they seem to have been sending new CCs to the customers and old ones are getting cancelled. This could be the case with other banks as well. Pls call your bank urgently and check on the validity of the card as well.

It was the case with me too while my cc got charges a week before card getting cancelled and ICICI has refused to extend the validity.

I am May 7th applicant noc 1112, PER received on 7th august 2014. ECAS second line update is we started processing your application on 9th sep 2014. Still no MR request. June applicants are getting MR request. Can any one throw some light on this whether i ll be able to make it or not. its a long long wait..

Yeah I'm 8th May applicant, received PER on 12th Aug ..2nd line updated on 27th Oct.. wait is killing me too.

App Recieved: 08 May 2014

DD encahsed: 15 July 2014

1st line - in process: 25 July 2014

PER Mail: 13 August 2014 (got to know about DD date)

2nd line - Process started: 9 Oct 2014

MR, RPRF, PCC recieved: 14 Oct 2014

PCC applied on: 16/10/2014
PCC recieved on: 4/11/2014

MR applied on: 19/10/2014
Remedical: 29/10/2014 (only for husband, asked by doctor only, no involvment of CIC)

RPRF DD date: 6/11/2014

NDVO send date: 7/11/2014
NDVO recieved: 10/11/2014

3rd line - medical recieved: 10/11/2014

By now, as per SS, we can establish a certain trend of LVO sending out MRs to applicants majority of whom are:

1- Based in Gulf countries i.e. UAE, Saudi Arabia
2- Belong to IT, Mechanical, or other Technical NOCs

We know that Visa offices do not follow FIFO so i am assuming that LVO received piles of application from CIO most of which related to IT / Technical NOCs. So they segregated applications related to said NOCs and are processing their MRs first up. I can only hope that LVO pays attention to other NOCs as well as many of the May first and second week applicants are awaiting even Second Line update let alone MR.

I also see another trend. I see it's taking longer for some nationalities, like I noticed many applications from Pakistani nationals from May have still not received MR. It could be that CIO is using round robin method.

Seniors Please help,
When is the expected date to change in my status of E-CAS . I received my PER on 23rd Oct and it states "We have received your application on 26th June". When shall I expect my MR.

There is no fifo method at vo for sending MRs etc. It depends on complexities of each file. They just started sending MR for June.

Stay positive and keeo your fingers crossed you will get MR very soon.

Ideally, its not needed, they know in india most of the BC's carry NO NAME, so you should have supported your 10th certificate and a cover letter to support it. Now that you got one, send a package to them with your NEW BC along with a cover letter stating the earlier one did not carry the name so here is one with name. Also, mention your earlier package details like NAME, PP number, DOB, APplication delivery date, Airway bill number of earlier package and all.
