There have been instances whereby the cic rejected embassy issued birth certificates but the point to be noted is that it was usually the primary applicants BC that got rejected. I don't remember coming across any post where the spouse or for that matter a dependent child's embassy issued birth certificate was rejected. I may be wrong but that is my observation. Besides even logically, birth certificate is the document for proof of age, which would be of importance in case of the primary applicant. As long as the embassy issued certificate has both the parents name, I do not think they would be so concerned for a toddlers proof of age and rejecting an entire application for that reason! Again its just my personal point of view. Let us wait and see. Just pray if its out of your hands now. Good luck.
