Any Body else have any opinion for NOC 2173 Cap by 1st OCT , as my Application has been reached on 1st OCT 2014?

I think right now you have 50% chances because of the clarity we have on entire preocess..

if count includes Complteness check then till mid august is a safe assumption for cap estimates and you would be safe as well..

however, if count includes CCCharges, then we are back to 20th July and your case would be touch and go ..

Please check the procedure of getting PCC from outside UAE. The finger print form is also available.

Thank you so much for sharing this information. This is excellent feedback that people can learn from and very much appreciated. Type 2 is fairly common these days and many people lead normal lives with it, but this was a question on my mind because we just didnut know how CIC would treat it. You have clarified it for me. I just hope someone can also comment on Cholesterol and what is the danger mark per CIC criteria and how they react to it. Many people from this part of the world (India/Pak/Bangladesh) are over 200. Wonder what CIC considers a redflag.

1. Do not lie or try to hide it as it will come in the blood/urine test
2. Do not worry if you need extra testing as these are all procedures
3. Try to not eat sweet stuff and drink lots of water a day before the test as it dilutes the sugar in your system
4. I have done a lot of research and found that until diabetes has had some severe effect in your body like ruined one of your organs, it is fine and cic usually doesn't reject based on just diabetes. For reference I found 3 people from this forum who got MR with diabetes recently in 2014.
5. It is better to take the urine and sugar test somewhere else before the actual medicals to check what situation the diabetes is in and how well it is controlled.
6. Please ensure diabetes is in control before going for testing as if it is high they will refer you to a specialist and the medicals will unnecessarily take longer time.

I am in a similar situation.
My CC was charged on 14th July as well but till now have not received PER.
I was one of the first to be charged on 14th July bu till now no PER.

I tried checking ECAS but it shows not available.

I have a visit visa from Canada as well.
I did not mention the UCI number on my application though.

Bro Sarwan, we both were among the 14 July applicant and are first one who got charged.
I am also on same boat, CC charged on 29 NS time and 2 am IST on 30th Oct.
I am able to see ECAS status on 7th Nov onward, from last year returned app's UCI#
Before 7th July it was not available for me too.
But no PER, hope today we all will get PER email.
Today may be CIO will issue lots of PER for all applicants till 15th July, lets pray and Hope.
