Which as per your judgement is better than the other.

As in JD or minor mistakes you might have made. Or in which you feel there is some history missing and might lead to misrepresentation.

Its just an overall judgement.

send e-mail at cio-sydney-search-enquiry @ cic.gc.ca asking about the status of your application. Mention your Full Name, DoB, UCI (of you have any), Passport number. Also provide the detail of when and who received your original package and through which couriers.

It will take around 40 days to get response.

Thanks for the reply, already did that twice once on 29th Oct and top up yesterday.....but i dont wanna loose the opportunity to reapply if it comes back....so is there any number i can call and check the status..... as i have to come know that 15july applicant package has came back so mine is neither rejected nor approved ...stuck where ...i am so confused and worried ...what to do...help me guys !

Hi,

I got my PER mail on 2nd October, 2014. The ECAS status is just showing that "We received your application for permanent residence on June 5, 2014." There is no further update on current status and the file being transferred to NDVO office etc.

In this situation what should be done -

1. Inform the NDVO office directly at the link below

2. Wait for further update from the CIC/NDVO.

Guy, i am sure now that my application is rejected because most july 14 applicants got their per. I will prepare another application asap. Do i need to wait for application to get back to me?

As long as you haven't got the ner letter, you are still in. In my case, i receive per after 130 days of waiting. But there is no harm if you'll submit another application. God bless.

CIO checks first and then again before PER.

Then Local VO rechecks to ensure authenticity.

One you clear PER CIO will add that your JD matches your title and its ok but Verification is not completed to your GCMS notes. (Just got GCMS)

Only a few is successful with the number you mentioned. There is no other number. I guess, in the next week, you will get response from CIO.

I guess they would do another check for eligibility very similar like CIO.

GCMS = Global Case Management System (It's a system wherein CIC input all data regarding the processing of your PR Application)

No one could expect the speed of CIC for completing checking of applications. But, I am sure they increased their speed by an amazing way and hence, why not??? might be you will be withen the cap
