I guess am just some heck of a lucky guy, these CIC ladies just talk to me, i spoke to them again about 40 minutes ago, coincidentally the lady whom i spoke to yesterday was the same today, she said sir i believe we spoke yesterday, '' you application is in process'' i said i just wanted to clarify that it wasnt returned yet. she said as of right now it is not returned the documents you submitted were alright if there had been a problem it would have been sent back by now and the fact that its in our system? means its been processed, you eligibility will now be checked against the NOC you applied for, then you will receive communication.

That's awesome and really incredible! You are so lucky that you could get some information from them everytime you called!!!!! I don't know why everytime I called, they only said they didn't have access to these records and couldn't help on it. What kind of secret weapons do you have?????????

It is called big imagination. Until the payment is charged, the electronic file is not generated and the app is sitting in CIO mail room in NS, consequently the customer support, which is situated in Ottawa, can't access it. Moreover, that number he was calling is not meant for applicants outside Canada as per the disclaimer on IVR and the CIC website. All the other applicants calling the hotline got the same response - we don't have access to FSW applications in Sydney.

Hello folks

I've noticed that in order to change the username, the admins should be contacted, but I think they're busy with important stuff other than change my username to something like ari_br, ari_2281 or an_2281.

Based on it, I was thinking about delete my user and create a new one. My question is, after deleting it, can I create another userid by using the same e-mail address used by the previous id?

Another question is, how can I get my profile pic updated?

Application Date - 21st May
NOC Code - 2173
PER date - 9th September
ECAS Second line updated on 5th November as "started processing from 31st October"

Application Received Date is 11th July.

Can someone tell me what is the next step and how long it might expect to take? The Excel sheet was spot-on in my case! PERS came exactly when expected.

Need to know the next few checkpoints and how much time they might take.

You have no other option but to comply with VOs request. If they want US PCC, provide accordingly.

One thing I wanted to share (already discussed long back):
My Duties letter was not like it should be. The old employer from India just wrote basic things like testing, analysis, bug report etc. It matched NOC 2173 but wasn't descriptive at all. Just 5 lines. haha..i was worried about it.

My application wouldn't have been possible without this group!! Dedicating it to everyone!! Today is Gurunanak Jayanti (a festival in India) and feels like God's gift!! Very happy

Not required to notarize the reference letters which are in English......

I didn't live in US, so as much as I would like to help you, I am not able to do so. Try searching for FBI keywords on the forum, the process has been described a dozen times at least.
