Hi everyone,

BTW good job to ashifee and for everyone spending their valuable time helping everyone.

I have a query regarding birth certificate. So, I have a birth certificate, which funny enough doesn't state my name- just my birth date, place of birth and that I am a girl.
My hubby's BC on the other hand has his name but with his dads middle name as his last name which obviously doesnt match with any of his documents.

Any suggestions how to address to this for the CIC so that they consider my application.

Other query of mine is regarding refund of fee in case the CIC go through my docs and realize that BC doesnt meet their requirement and decide to return the application. Will CIC refund the fee then?

Can anyone share their experiences on when you can get a refund of your fee and when will the CIC not refund?

Many thanks

Really a bit funny... ;)

Anyway why dont u try to get the actual one....

If u cant manage (worst case) then i will suggest u to take notarized affidavit from ur parents and then submit along with ur funny BC to CIC.... :)

Full-time study means at least 15 hours of classes per week, and you must have stayed in good academic standing (as set out by the school) during that time.

Is this an average of 15 hours per week over the course of your study or 15 hours a week period? The reason I ask is because some people would do extra semesters so they can spread the load out.

Bro can u please write ur ques with simpler way... :)

Seniors I have tow queries.

1. Is it required to send original Bank solvency/proof of funds (which usually provided by Bank's letter head pad) or a notarized copy will work?

2. Those who got rejected in 2013 due to cap reached and got a UCI, is it required to send the rejection letter along with new application (FSW2014)?
1. Send original, have a photo copy
2. Good question. Send photo copy highlight reason for return, keep original. If not no problem, but they will suspect as u got refusal earlier, bcoz u ve UCI number. They will check & know its returned not refusal, matter of some minutes.

@ sreeamp I totally agree with you with the age calculation. I had second part to this querry. what date to use to calculate your age. Please reply the second part of my last post, for date to use for calculation.
According to u the person who completed 17yrs & 12months should get zero points.
Who completes 18yrs & 12months will get 12points.

We discussed more on this, I may b wrong. If ur points r standard I agree to u. Let candidate discuss with veterans in this field.

Hi, you just need to keep in mind that the category you apply in, you should have atleast 1 year full time exp in that category.

My suggestion is to go with 2133, just look at the responsibilities matching from the hrd website. You will be in.
