Need Help
i got my PCC request from CPC-OTTAWA on september 24th . i have to send my PCC by 24th November

i m in USA. the fbi used to take 1 month for the PCC. now it takes 3 months due to the system upgrade at fbi

i applied fpr pcc at fbi on sept 11th. and i am sure i am not going to get it by Nov 24th.

i am really nervous.

Please tell me wht to do.
Is there ant one else with the same problem ?

It is something not in your hands. In fact people at CPC-O are aware of the delay in getting PCC.
Make letter explain the reason for delay, send it to CPC-O by Email (Attach you UCI & Application details)
Request them for extension (May be in your case for 2 more months)
Send the same letter by Fax to CPC-O.

I think it should be ok as long as you do not claim points for the other two periods. I have the same situation, I did not even submit letter of reference for the time I work but do not claim points. My application date is mid October though. Hopefully someone with same situation and got PER can shed more light. Good luck to us!

I am 5th August applicant and sent to CIC about my application on 16th Oct but yet to receive the reply.

There are several with the same issue.
VO is already aware about the issue. Just ask for extension.

How do we know if medicals are fine?

I think Medical received in ECAS mean just that medicals are received by CIC, and evaluation is happening.

Do any one of you know how and when we know that medicals are fine, and how many days this will take after third line appears on ECAS?

I am 15th July applicant and not sure whether the DD is encashed. Would I see an immediate update in ECAS once the DD is cashed or should it be happening only on Tuesdays. Let me know your thoughts????

I had requested my UCI number and which was mentioned in their reply on 15h October . Does it mean the completeness check was done before that or they are doing it????

Please be advised that your application is in initial processing at CIO Sydney. Our office is unable to provide a timeframe for processing. Your UCI is ****** ( this UCI number does not have '- ' , Is this normal)

As per current situation, completeness check appear to be done to end of August so it includes your application but yet to issue PER to you on Oct. 15th. They provided you with the UCI then it would be better. Keep checking your ECAS. Did you send your email early September? Wait for good news soon!

If the clinic sends the results to CIC they are fine already it's 100%

I have received MR and RPRF email, went for the examination and paid the RPRF fees.
My E-CAS status still has 1st and the only line.

Good morning brother. I need your opinion buddy. I recently applied for fsw.

I have 3 experiences..

1. Volunteer experience for about 10 months

2. Paid experience for 5 month

3. Paid experience for 4.2 years.


My question is.. I made a cover letter stating that I am only claiming points in my latest experience which is 4.2 years.... And the last 2 experience is a generic employment letter not the cic experience letter they are requiring.... Would that be ok?


Lastly, with regard to my volunteer experience.. My letter is telling my start date until present.... I am very anxious that there should be an end date to it... However, I am not claiming points for it . do you think I need to update it and send an additional letter to cio. My app received date is oct 7'
