DD is safest mode if u have patience as DD charging takes longer time.

CC is safe if u can lock ur card in safe until it is encashed.

Don't get carried away by false promises made by consultants, apply only if there is chance of your noc.

Runningrace is right in mentioning that DD is the safest mode.

But CC, even if kept in safe is dangerous.

Just today I got an SMS from my CC bank that as Per RBI mandate, they would be changing one of my CC with Chip enabled card. These replacements are happening now for the last year or so and will continue till all issued cards are not changed.

So thankful that I had paid via DD mode. So won't affect me.

UCI created before Completeness Check, not after. This is proven by the fact that files returned for incompleteness also have UCI no. My guess is, as soon as they open a file, the first thing they do is to create a UCI no.

True !! Anyone who has applied for any form of Canadian Visa earlier, whether approved or rejected, has a UCI. So UCI has to be before completeness check.

Dear All Experts,

Can anyone guide me that how many points i shall get for education. Whereas I have completed MBA-2.5 Years(equal to M-Phil in Business Administration-17.5-Years of Education) after completion of my MCS (16-Years).Please note that 16-Years of non-business education was a pre-requisite to get admission into this MBA-Finance-2.5-Years program.
My question is whether WES will evaluate my MBA as equivalent of Canada's Masters degree???

Although WES has mentioned in my account all of the documents as "Accepted" (approximately after 15-days of receipt at WES in Canada), but still final report is not prepared. Also can anyone guide that after documents are accepted by WES, how long do they take to issue the ECA.

Best regards,
George

You should get the report ready in another 7-10 days time. For Canadian Equivalency, you can check at WES free evalution tool at http://www.wes.org/ca/immigrants/preliminary.asp

Dear members I applied under 0013 my first application received on may 20 and I received my file back on 21 of October the letter indicates that my file has been returned to me because there is missing document(university transcripts) and the work experience. So can you please update my status.

Later I sent a new a application and it was received on July 14 and today my credit card has been charged!!!! What dose that mean? I'm confused
And how can I enter my second application information? I didn't get any email, I'm trying to check my application status online but it shows a msg (we can't recognize the info.) that's why I'm worried!! If you have any idea what's going on pls help. Really appreciate it.

Congrats and +1 to you !!

You've waited so long. Wait for another few days to get PER.

Dmitrych, did VO make any calls to your place of work to verify your references? And, if by any chance you happen to know, do they always make the calls? I'm kinda scared :-X

Guys,

I need your advice. I am residing in Qatar and applied under 0111 with application received date on 30th May by Mr. Doug. London is my visa office. I have not received any news from CIC. Now, my query;

1) DD has the 6 months expiry of November 25th 2014. what may happen if this is not encashed in between?
2) Can I treat my application as declined/rejected?
3) Is there any way, I can send a query to them in mail or telephone?

Thanks

Did you sent email to CIC ? Any reply from them ???
How about other members to say about 6 month expiry of DD, if not heard from CIC within 180 days ? Will they ask to send new DD ?

Hello all,

I'm trying to fill out the Economic Classes - Federal Skilled Workers form. However, I've come across a few questions that do not apply to my case, including the question about whether my employer obtained a confirmation letter from Employment and Social Development Canada (I do not have an offer of employment in Canada) and the ones about my accompanying spouse (I am divorced). Shall I answer no to these questions or just leave the boxes blank and write not applicable next to the questions after printing the form out?

Please help as I'm running out of time!

I read on this forum - put Not Applicable wherever you have reason to leave blanks.

Regards,
Rick

Please charge me CIC!!! im tired of checking my card

Yes, it is a good idea to write 'Not Applicable' wherever you intend to leave blanks. However, there are a few exceptions from this rule:
1. Schedule A – Background/Declaration (IMM 5669), Question 9: If you were not a member of an association or organization, do not write “not applicable”. Rather, write: “I have never been a member of an organization or association”. As suggested by IMM7000 Guide.
2. In some forms there's a single question in the beginning of the section (like Yes/No) followed by a series of gaps -- they all are not applicable by virtue of your first negative answer and there is no need to write "N/A" in each of them. It is important not to leave blank sections not fields.
3. Some forms have dynamic behaviour and certain fields are grayed out making it impossible to type anything in there. It is okay then not to write "N/A" in such cases.

If ur credit card gets charged this means ur PER is on its way towards u..congrats for tht....
there is on query though.. if ur application was returned on 21st october.. how could u re-apply on 14th July :) perhaps u applied earlier in may 2013..
Thanx, after I sent my first app in may I found that I didn't send the university transcript so I asked the forum members what to do and they advised me to send a new application with the missing documents, So I sent a new application in July before I got my first application back.
I'm really thankful to every member in this forum and I wish you all a good luck
