Hi All,

I wish to apply for Canada immigration under FSW program under categories - 2173 or 2174.

My IELTS exam date is on 7th of June. So I would be able to apply at the June month end the earliest.

Can anyone predict the cap filling time for NOC 2173 and 2174 ?

Also, from where can I check the current cap status? I do have the link of CIC site, but they are not updating it even on weekly basis I guess.

Please suggest...

Hello Everyone,

I am working in USA on work visa. Can I get my PCC from India or do I have to request Indian Consulate for the PCC? I am not comfortable sending my passport to Indian consulate as they are not replying back to any queries. Please share your experience with Indian Consulate at San Fransisco or any other consulate.

Hi, i got my PCC last year of India from VFS.. I am staying in malaysia on work permit and went to VFS office to ask for advise on getting PCC of India. They said they can do that and my job was done. Try VFS...

Same day submitted but my evaluation status is still in progress from last 10 days....can u please tell me whats wrong in my evaluation process...

UPS called today and my wes result will be delivered today. Im not sure what's wrong in your process.

I have almost the same query as gaurav and a couple of other questions as follows:

1. I am thinking of applying as primary applicant and do the same for my wife too (she has relevant work experience and decent educational qualification). is that a good idea / feasible option?
2. i am looking at NOC 2173 as well. when they say a cap of 1000 does that mean the 1st 1000 applications will be accepted or the 1st 1000 valid applications?
3. i am yet to take the IELTS exam and get my educational degrees verified by WES (just got to know of the FSWP yesterday actually). Will it be too late to apply then?

Any responses to the queries would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the such weird question.
I had my birth certificate translated by the certified translator in my country. Do it needs to be notarized? It has something written like affidavit in it signed my the translator, but not notarized by some one.
In my country, we do never hear about notary...

Yes brother it need to be notarized of the original docs's photocopy...

CIC tells:

"Translation of documents

Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document."

Dear all,

For the NOC's which were not listed on last years eligible occupation list, for example 0113 ,when is your best estimation for the caps to be reached for these NOC's?

Bro,

In my guess it take over two months...:)

I'm sure you will see if you ask further....its very necessary for you to notorize any translated document not originally in English.
Please ask further.

Both NOC are hot...but compare to 2174----NOC 2173 is a bit less hot...

I guess u can catch the CAP for 2173 atleast....(just a guesstimate)...

And so far our thread Spreadsheet is the best material for estimation of the CAP..CIC site is not an appropriate one since they update with backdated data....

good luck bro...:)

Welcome.
1.This is feasible.....both of you can apply separately as principal applicants.

2.It simply means the first valid 1000 applications and not just the firstly submitted applications.

3.Life itself is a risk and so you can not afford to give up because of time.Organize ECA for you and your spouse immediately.Register for IELTS immediately for both of you......I'm sure you will make it both.
Cheers!

I dont have the format for the cover letter in my hand...

But it should be very simple..

U can write just an application stating that u are having problems to get the ref letter form ur prev employer due to_______.

Thats why u are now obliged to submit the affidavit work letters...although u are submitting relevant appointment letter and payslip (if u have any of this)....

So please considering the situation accept ur docs accordingly....

Thats it!!

Good luck...:)
