If the BC has all the info but not the child's name will it cause any problem. In India most of BC's were issued like that.

For me as well, my BC did not had my name. So I took it to MCD office in New Delhi (South zone) and got the name added to it.

Yes, I believe it is better to have BC with the child's name added in it. Senior forum members can advice on the same.

What I meant by that question was do they update ECAS around the time of Medical requests or should I expect something before that, what has been the patter running ?

I ask for personal information as well to update the info on the fsw2014 site.

No. POD is only to know if your app is deliverd to CIC. See who signed for it and you will know from the SS, whether its the right place as most names of people receiving the apps are enlisted on the SS

What date is your application. With the delivery date you can at least know when you are supposed to get charged.

Hmm what is POD number ... are you talking about Proof of Delivery by your courier? If so no.

You actually need to receive a UCI from CIC, either in the form of PER Email or you can get it from an older Visa application.

The BC without your name on it is acceptable too as your parents names are mentioned. If it's not in english, you need to translate and notarize before sending to CIC.

I have got PER mail on 08 oct 2014. I got new born baby and i want to add him to our application.
I have received his passport today and made DD in favour of ' CANADIAN HIGH COMMISSION' payable at NEW DELHI in 8200 Rs .
Is it ok ? OR should i make DD in favour of ' RECEIVER GENERAL OF CANADA' payable at CANADA.
How can i know NDVO as my visa office.?
i have to send all document tomorrow.........

It is a difficult question to answer. Volume of applications have dropped significantly and as per last update about 2 weeks ago there 348 applications. I have a friend who is finishing preparing his app for mailing in this week so why not you too ?

Worst case scenario your package is returned.

Dear Friends,
With God's Grace and good wishes of forum members , Payment got charged from my Citi bank Credit Card Just now @ 5.20 pm(IST). I was expecting this charge any time since morning, I was very positive since morning, just 2 hours before, i was watching toronto's time, it was 6 am, i told my friends that person who will debit my card has woken up and i was imagining the scene also. half an hour before i told my friend that he is getting ready for office. but i was wrong, he reached office early today and debit my fees. . I am so happy, Ist Level Achieved.I will update SS after my post. Thanks all for keeping the the forum full of positivity. May God Bless all.

I think u need not to worry, LVO is processing quite randomly..... as of now only 3 guys (all after ur app date) of ur NOC have received Medical, while following apps till 9th may are still waiting.

S7 --> 8 May
Iby2147 --> 9 May
mada1985 --> 8 May
Cardsman --> 7 May
zakkhan --> 6 May

Oh how this forum and the members have moved on ... haven't been able to keep track of things lately bcause of work.

An update on my app .. well there is none

I have not heard anything neither have I seen any updates in ECAS since my PER in August.
Honestly am a little worried at this point .. as I can see people from May 21 in LondonVO getting Medical Requests.

Quick question when should I expect to see any update on my ECAS ?

I have received MR from NDVO today (exactly 49 days after I got PER from them). Updated SS!!!

I have few questions to be answered.

1. I have applied for PCC from Sweden this week and expecting it within two weeks from now, little worried about the processing time. If I didn't received it on time (with in 45 days) , can I explain it to NDVO and send it after I received?

2. I am going to have a kid next January, how to inform the change of family composition to NDVO?. Do i need to reply to the MR mail or should I have to used the link for CASE enquiry?
Use Case Specific Enquiry. Your medicals will be after the delivery.

3. How about the Medical examination(X-ray). Will the doctor mention about it in the medical record and ignore it?
Your medicals will happen after the delivery. DOnt rush it now by doing half the tests and medicals later, since your case will be anyhow delayed for your child's medicals and you would need to send additional documents..

4. Recently I have got new passport (Renewal), Do I have to inform NDVO before hand or is it OK to send the updated passport copies while I send the MR and other docs?
Send an email now informing the same and ask them to advise further steps, not CSE, just a normal email and send the copies with MR, which I assume will be their reply

5. RPRF. Can I pay online?. I have been given a link to pay it online by NDVO. is it OK to pay online?. or Shall I take DD?
