Why CIC cap list not being updated yet ? ( for more than 17 days )

PLEASE PLEASE i need help from the SENIORS in this forum....i think i am in a lot of trouble...my ICCRC regulated immigration consultant just told me last night that he has received my PER Mail but when i asked him to send the PER mail, he first said that he wont send it and then when i was adamant he said that he will send the PER Mail but will erase the ECAS or UCI number from it!!! This sounds really strange to me.

Also he was behaving very rudely and told me that i am lucky to have received PER in the first place as my application was a very weak one. And said that he had to personally got to Canada to submit my application and there he convinced the people responsible there to accept my application. He said i had to beg them to overlook your experience issue!!! To let you all know he has made out an issue from my case for absolutely no reason. I have 11 months job experience + paid internship for 10 months in the same job in a Govt office. so in total i have 1 year and 9 months experience which was sufficient for me. But he says he had to beg them to consider my paid internship as legitimate experience!!!! Is that even possible. Can a consultant do that while submitting a clients application!!???

The point is can my consultant do whatever he is doing rite now. He says he will give me UCI number only after my medical request has arrived. Also he will take full payment before that. I was amazed at how rudely he was talking to me. At one point he even said that i will throw your application if you keep on asking me questions, just let me do whatever i am doing and dont ask questions.

Please help me i am almost having a heart attack....what should i do now...can i complain about him. If yes, WHERE?

And if i do lodge a complaint about him will he in any way be able to harm my application or immigration process

Please please please i ask all the senior members to help me out. I need your advises.

This is totally unacceptable. You have the absolute right to know and to see all information and correspondence about your application at all times. Here is what you should do:

1. Your file is going to be transferred to your local VO. Send a Case-Specific Enquiry to your VO informing them that you will no longer use a consultant and that they should contact you directly for all future correspondence. Attach a copy of the "Use of Representative" form revoking the authorization for your consultant and indicating that you will no longer be represented by anyone. I believe you should send a paper copy to the VO as well as they need your actual signature, but ask them to confirm. Also explain the situation and ask for your UCI.

2. E-mail CIC and ask for your UCI and the status of your application. Unfortunately those e-mails are not answered for about 6 weeks but if you explain the situation and the urgency maybe you will get lucky and they will answer sooner. Also call CIC, though they usually don't give this information over the phone they sometimes do, and if you explain the situation and that you already got your PER they may be more helpful.

3. File a formal complaint with ICCRC and explain the situation fully.

4. If this consultant attempts to sabotage your application, you may need to hire a lawyer both to represent you with CIC as necessary and to threaten the consultant.

5. Don't pay the consultant another penny!

Hi Hetal,
Big no for your query. If this would have been the case, they would consider your passport instead.
As per there guidelines Birth Certificate is mandatory.

You need a correction here John,

Class 10th marksheet with DOB and Fathers name (same as application) with an affidavit is okay.

Birth Certificate is NOT mandatory.

Visa office is NDVO.

My consultant says better to have DD in Can $, rather than in Indian Rupees.

Whats ur opinion.


DD in favour of whom a& payable at ?
And a common DD of 980$ (for me and my spouse) will be Ok ?

Pay INR 53400 (26700X2). Payable to "Canadian High Commission" or "Receiver General for Canada" payable at New Delhi. If you want, you can also pay CAD980

Dear forumites,

Finally i got my eca from icas after 4 months and ready to send my application this week. Just want to know two things:

1. one month old balance certificate from bank is OK or should i get fresh letter?
2. I want to provide details of two credit cards just to avoid any risk that may occur in CC charge. So should i use two original fee payment forms? or one original and another in cover letter format? P.S i cant wait for DD encashement and want to use CC as it let me know status of my application much earlier.

Hi guys. I'm new here. I have a question.

I have sent my application to CIC for a month now, and I have realized the work experience letter that I have provided might not contain all the required information. I think there is this possibility for my application to be rejected. And if I wait to get an answer from CIC, I will lose the time for sending another application. So my question is, can I send a whole new application to CIC now, including the added documents and information? And if I do so, what will happen if the first application gets accepted and then CIC finds the second one?

You can send an entirely new application to CIC, but remember that you will need all the same documents, including original IELTS, ECA, etc. and a second fee payment. If your first application is successful you can simply withdraw the second one.
