Your post has given hopes for me. I am also 3rd July DD applicant. Just hoping for the best. Just to be on safer side, Why don't you go to bank and ask them for your DD status?

Best of luck for your application, the thing is that banks do not have the correct info on dd encashment, seen couple of forumites reporting that they got per but bank says dd not encased,

deviim15, as you said your MR was on 21st, your consultant mailed it to you today but "YOUR 2nd LINE GOT UPDATED ON 15TH", i want to ask, your 2nd line was updated a week before MR mail and you saw the line updated before 21st?

As I realised, if they don't charge you, all the documents will be sent back to you via snail mail. The person who told me that submited application in July (or it was June?) last year and got it back in October the same year. But, they were on strike last year this time, so this timeline is not applicable for present situation.
If they take off your money but you get NER, they'll send you an e-mail aproximatelly one month after charging. They don't return documents but they keep IELTS and WES originals and can use them for the folowing application if you indicate it.

And, believe it or not, all of this happened to the same person!

I stayed in Qatar for five month and sixteen days. Then i moved back to my home country.
After one month i went back to Qatar and stayed there for two months and again moved back to my home country.
Do i need PCC from Qatar ?

I have received my PER on 21-Oct (about a week ago). Today I sent thru updated Schedule A form to LVO thru Case Specific Enquiry form online, and also sent original signed documents via post to London VO. I have included a letter explaining the mistake I made (and apologized for the same). (I unintentionally overlooked part of question 6 (d), ticked NO and forgot to include details of my US visitor visa refusal)

Questions I have are:

- How likely is it that VO has my file by now?
- Does anyone know of a case when VO accepted a new form with minor correction after PER?

I got my update email including cv and rprf today, and they've requested me the " Detail of the activities since May 2014 for yourself and your spouse" , do you have any idea about the format and what details should I mention ?

Never heard of this before. It sounds like they are asking for the same kind of information that goes on the background declaration form, just updated since your application?

My application finally arrived at the CIO today!

Received by McNeil (anybody got him yet? not on the SS form).

Anyway, SS updated . Now only 4 months of patience

Yes. Received PCC today. It is 3 to 4 hours process but good thing is PCC is issued almost to everyone on same day. Guys applying for PCC from Hyderabad...just bit of important information:

1. slots open at 4:30 pm on few days in a week. which day in week it opens is random. system will tell you when the next slot booking will open
2. There are very slots for PCC and hence all slots get booked within 15 to 20 minutes of opening so you have to be pretty fast.
3. Slots are booked for almost a week in advance. So today when I checked for slot it was showing booked till 5 November.
4. Carry at-least 2 address proof. Passport office may not like your bank statement if it has few transactions. I took my voter id and sbi statement.

It is 3 to 4 hours process but good thing is PCC is issued almost to everyone on same day.

and yes I am yet to do my medicals. I was thinking to send the DD and PCC first and then get my Medicals done little late. My deadline to submit all 3 is 27th November. I was just thinking if I do my medicals late it would add up to my validity and give more time to plan my travel once visa arrives. Does that make sense? thoughts? suggestions

I would like to know exact procedure for PCC. when i visited Commissioner office for inquiry on PCC, a person guided me to go to an agent. I would like to apply personally not through agents. though i have time.
Pls guide me exactly in steps.

look at the bottom of the spreadsheet, you will see the returned applications. As you can see there is no rule how long it might take. But your charge turn will come very soon
