I'm trying to understand the situation, a 28 Jul applicant was rejected and informed? How it can happen? CIO informs us when they reject an application?

I'm worried now. I'm going to block my cc next week. Also, do I need to inform CIO on withdrawing second application? Or should I keep silence after blocking cc as payment won't be charged for second application

If you block your CC, then no need to inform CIC of anything since your second application will be returned to you and won't be placed in processing. Even if you did inform CIC, they won't respond to your email for at least another 1 month, so it might be too late.

I am a bit worried because my two year old son has problem in speech. Until now he has no combined words though he speak a lot of baby words and some letters and numbers. The rest of his motor skills is fine. We will have our medical examination next week, can this be a problem? Does any of you experience problem in medical about development stage of your child?

Need your advises guys. Thanks..

My son started talking at 3 its normal especially for the boys
It will not be a problem for the medical exam

the job title on my reference letter is different from the one on my app. will they charge money when they return my application? should i cancel it from now and apply for a new one?

Job title doesn't matter as long as duties match NOC code.

Does anyone know what has caused slowness with CIC? CC charge is stuck at 7th July and PER flow is also slowed down, hardly any updates. Has anyone seen such a slow week in the past bcoz I have not.

Don't give me vague answers like Diwali leaves Am sure this job is not outsourced.

I don't think CIC has slowed down. It's been giving PERs constantly. The only thing that might have slowed down is reporting by people in the forum since they might be busy with diwali (given that Indians seem to be the most representative group of this forum).

Hello Forum Mates,
Hope this post of mine will be helpful for at least few of those who are tensed for Interview at NDVO.
I got my interview scheduled for 20th October 2014 morning. I was so nervous that I wasn't even sure if I should go for the interview.

But I have to be there so, I was there on time 30mins before the scheduled time. The security check takes around 15 – 20 mins since it depends on the number of applicants who are scheduled for the same time.
I gave my letter at the reception and the lady there asked me to wait for your name to be called.

After 15 Minutes an announcement was made for me to come to a room number (X). I went there and there, the Visa Officer on the other side of the mirror glass was ready with my application on the desk.
She asked me to close the door and make myself comfortable. She then asked me in which language I would like to take the interview. (For me it was English)

She then told me about the purpose of the interview (For me she said “This is to know you better”)
She then started with my qualification. I started from my schooling, where she stopped me and asked me to start from Graduation. I told her about my graduation and then masters. Then she asked me show my original certificates of graduation and master's degree.

After that she started with the experience and employment details. She started asking me the questions based on NOC duties. She wanted to get the information as to what do I actually do in my organization.
She started with my 1st Organization and then 2nd. Everything was to understand if I am actually what I have mentioned on the letters.

With the conversations in place she was asking all my originals as to my employment letters and experience certificates and promotions letters one by one as we moved ahead in our discussion.
In the end she was making me convinced (Kind of Strange) as to if I am not a Financial Analyst Rather I am an Investment Analyst (Which I agreed too).

She then asked me if I have something to ask or say.

Here I told her about the change in my form and she asked me to provide the updated forms. I gave her the forms. She then asked me provide the PCC if I already have one. (I Did so I handed over the same)
There after she said we will email you further details.

Interview Ended. (Lasted for around 1 hour)

On 21st October I received my MR Request.

Also, one thing that I would like to share... There are many people getting interview call letters, so don't think so much on the same. Just be ready with all the originals and everything that you think they can ask. Anything missing can lead to negative and might impact.
Interview is a normal process so don't be tensed

What's the reason for problem in speech? I don't think there will be any problem unless the condition requires continuous substantial medical expense...

Oh who am I kidding!! They're not going to interview a two year old for his speech... so just chill

As per SS, average turnaround time of London visa office is 7.5 months
Does it mean if a candidate has filed his application on May 15th then he can see himself in Canada around Dec 31st?

Yes. It is very much possible but might not be true for everybody.

The only answer that comes to my mind is that there was a second large wave of applications lodged in July. The early birds of May were ready to go as soon as the program started with the packages rejected for FSW2013. Other folk who had to do ECA and staff had their apps ready in July. The guys who used consultants would probably be among the second wave too, hence we can't see their entries in the SS.

My MBA was general but ECA report mentions specialization as business administration


In education if I mention my class 10 and 12 then what certificate do I mention.
If I mention something then do I send those.


Even if I send them will it be a problem if it is not mentioned in ECA report .

bro are you sure? bec someone else suggest that it is better to apply for a new app.
and yes the NOC matches the job duties. it is just that on my reference letter it says i am a consultant and i wrote on my app that i am a financial planner.

Nope. It means that CSU doesn't reply to queries that didn't reach "maturity date" (70 days as per their policies).
