What are the chances of getting rejected after getting MR done?
is there anyone out there got rejected after getting MR done?

Very very Rare, If MR is not within the guidelines laid by CIC.

Still I have some confusion.

Each NOC has its own Employment requirements, For example,

NOC2133 Electrical and electronics engineers
•A bachelor's degree in electrical or electronics engineering or in an appropriate related engineering discipline is required.

NOC2241 Electrical and electronics engineering technologists and technicians
•Completion of a two- or three-year college program in electrical or electronics engineering technology, computer engineering technology, telecommunications technology or an equivalent is usually required for electrical or electronics engineering technologists.

"If the important thing is matching my duties to the NOC I apply and not the education...."
If my job duties match with NOC 2133, can I apply under it even though I my WES equivalent is only 3 year diploma?

I was looking at the DD update ,It is going to take at least 8-10 days for your bank to clear the DD. Most likely you will get your PER by 29th of this month. Cheer up.

Arcflash - In my humble understanding both the duties as well as the education should match. The education there is a bit of leeway because you can select alternative courses of study, but the number of years should match. If you have only a 3 year diploma, you can only apply under NOC2241. Try to work with your supervisor to phrase your duties to match - though not verbatim.

I'm a 3th July applicant. I applied for both 2173 and 2174.... so I'm not sure which one was actually chosen!

Has anybody noticed that this forum is all about people having difficulties living in their countries of origin and working hard to immigrate to another country?

Come on people, we all know that our countries are not the best in this world. Personally, I would trade my original nationality for a can of Coke, but this does not mean I don't love my country. It just means that I love my family more, and that the can of coke is probably of more value and benefit for my family

So, please stop this speech of chauvinism immediately. It really doesn't matter whether you love your country more than your soul, or you think that your country sucks. In all cases, you are here because you want to LEAVE your country and live somewhere else. And by the way, I still find the "joke" about Nigeria very very offending, and should not be told in a international forum with members from all over the world. Be it Nigeria, Canada, Egypt, India, and even UK, it is always easy to make fun of something negative in any of these countries. But simply keep your jokes to yourself, especially when you know they are offensive to a group of people.
